Blue frames and continued numbering

Topps Series 2 follows the red-framed first Empire Strikes Back installment. Its 132 numbered cards run from 133 through 264, while its 33 stickers continue from 34 through 66. The blue picture frames on a silver background distinguish this edition visually. Cards and stickers have separate number sequences; neither the color change nor the new introductory card starts the numbered base series over at one.

Starcraft cards and film coverage

The opening Series 2 card introduces the release, followed by ten Starcraft subjects. The listed spacecraft include the Millennium Falcon, Executor, Imperial Star Destroyer and TIE Fighter. Later cards return to film sequences and characters. A block of twelve behind-the-scenes cards near the end is followed by two checklist cards. Those categories are all part of one 132-card base sequence rather than independently numbered inserts.

Star Quiz and Movie Facts

The reference gallery identifies a Star Quiz feature on the back of the main story cards, with answers appearing on the following card. Behind-the-scenes entries instead use Movie Facts on the reverse. This means that card-back content is an important part of identifying a specific Series 2 printing. Collectors comparing a loose front with an unrelated reverse risk creating a mismatched record.

Blue stickers and one horizontal puzzle

The 33 stickers continue the sequence begun with Series 1. The first 22 use letter-framed pictures, and eleven later designs place character portraits in trophy-style frames. The sticker backs also assemble into a picture puzzle, now laid out horizontally and depicting the subject of the series title card. That puzzle is made from existing sticker backs; it is not another separately numbered set.

All 165 entries have two linked sides

The current JSON contains 132 numbered-card fronts, 33 sticker fronts and corresponding back URLs for all 165 records. The old catalog image total of 132 left out the stickers even though their photographs were already indexed. These are externally hosted reference links, not locally owned scans. A viewer should compare both sides of a card and should not assume every remote image will load permanently.

Verification across two source galleries

StarWarsCards.net supplies the basic second-series list, while esbirrios maintains distinct base-card and sticker galleries. The source records identify Series 2 by its blue frame, Starcraft opening cards, sticker numbering and reverse puzzles. The site keeps both collection categories separate even where the same starship or character appears. New entries require a printed code and matching cited evidence.
