The 48 original 1½-inch numbered stickers form twelve 4-piece scenes. Promotional album and one sheet per week were distributed January 1981; catalog copyright is 1980. Each sticker has an individual source-photo page linked in the checklist but reproduction rights remain uncleared.

Forty-eight stickers create twelve scenes
Burger King's Empire Strikes Back Super Scene Collection was built around an oversized scene booklet and forty-eight separate stickers. Twelve pictured scenes each required four components, labeled A through D. Collectors placed each quartet in the corresponding booklet scene. Unlike the thirty-six-card Everybody Wins game, this was a sticker-and-booklet activity, and its four-part image pieces are the indexed units.
Scenes and their numbered positions
The documented subjects include Chewbacca, preparing to freeze Han, Leia at a command console, Luke with Yoda on Dagobah, and Boba Fett with IG-88. Other scenes feature Luke's Cloud City encounters and the Millennium Falcon era's characters. The twelve source scene numbers each map to four distinct codes, from 1A through 12D. Repeating a scene title four times is therefore intentional, not a duplicated database record.
Sheets, the booklet and collecting context
The source describes four separate sheets supplied over successive weeks. Completing a page required matching the A, B, C and D components of its scene, then attaching them to black-and-white guide pictures inside the booklet. A detached sticker, an uncut sheet and a completed booklet represent different physical states. The archive tracks forty-eight individual pieces, not twelve complete booklets or every possible packaging state.
A conflicting date on the source page
The linked StarWarsCards.net article is filed in its 1980 checklist directory and describes The Empire Strikes Back, but its visible heading incorrectly says 1977. An independent historical overview describes this as Burger King's second Empire promotion. IDS retains the 1980 archive date while documenting the inconsistent source heading. The misleading text is not used to recast these sequel stickers as a 1977 original-film release.
New textual coverage, not new photos
The former IDS page had zero indexed entries despite a published forty-eight-piece list. The full source-supported 1A–12D code sequence is now indexed as one sticker group. No corresponding image URLs have been verified or added, and the image count remains zero. Four panels with the same scene title should not share one generic picture; matching photographs need evidence of the correct individual piece.
What the checklist establishes
The manufacturer-era subject listing is documented through StarWarsCards.net, and the collectors' historical overview independently describes the forty-eight-sticker booklet. Both support twelve scenes composed from four pieces each. The archive uses the published titles and panel letters without asserting that every printed copy, special wrapper or surviving album has been examined. Image scans and distribution variations remain separate research tasks.
