The sequel-film half of Everybody Wins

This page records eighteen Empire Strikes Back subjects from the same 1980 Burger King Everybody Wins promotion. Together with the eighteen original-film cards, they account for the documented 36-card release. Cards circulated in perforated panels of three or six, not as an ordinary Topps wax-pack series. The Super Scene Collection of forty-eight stickers is a separate Burger King promotion.

Characters and scenes from the sequel

The surviving checklist names Battle of the Lightsabers, Chase Through the Asteroids, Darth Vader with Boba Fett, and droids inside a Rebel base. Other entries include Luke with Yoda, snow walkers, bounty hunters and Chewbacca in wintry conditions. These are clearly Empire Strikes Back scenes and characters. The source supplies titles without printed item numbers, so the archive preserves blank code fields rather than inventing numbers.

The historical ANH and ESB reversal

The older IDS source file assigned these eighteen sequel titles to a page labeled ANH Cards. The original StarWarsCards.net URL for that list also says 'anh-cards', while the page heading says ESB Cards. The content and independent list confirm the sequel identification. The correction changes checklist assignments and cited links without deleting or redirecting either established IDS page address.

Panels, the combined set and condition

A collector may encounter a panel of three subjects, a larger strip, or individual pieces cut at the perforations. Those formats are not new characters, nor does a separated picture become a differently numbered card. The thirty-six cards span both films, while this directory intentionally offers a film-specific set of eighteen. IDS has not indexed an additional set merely for the larger panel format.

Eighteen records without verified scans

The sequel checklist contains eighteen title-only records and no linked front or back images. The missing-photo state is deliberately visible. Even when an auction or fan page contains a familiar image of Vader, Boba Fett or Yoda, that image cannot be attached without establishing it depicts the correct Burger King card and source. There are no fabricated photos or claimed card numbers.

The source heading matters more than its URL

The StarWarsCards.net ESB checklist, Jeff Allender's film-labeled panel list and the 36-card Trading Card Database catalog support this assignment. The older page address was misleading, so both source title and physical subjects are considered. These references establish identity and the basic promotional context, not a specific seller's card condition, scan rights or estimated resale value.
