Green borders in the continuing series
The green-border Topps Star Wars Series 4 covers numbered cards 199 through 264 and stickers 34 through 44. IDS files this U.S. installment under 1978, although some collecting references group the whole five-series program under its original 1977 identity. The archival year label alone does not prove the exact retail sale date of an individual card or sealed pack.
An important card 207 variation
The first green-border cards depict the Star Wars heroes, C-3PO and a Mos Eisley raid. A notable issue is card 207, for which the linked collector gallery shows an original image and a corrected printing. The IDS numbered checklist currently records one card 207 identity; it does not claim to document both variants as separately verified catalog records or establish their relative scarcity.
Film facts and a picture puzzle
The gallery identifies 22 movie-fact backs and 44 picture-puzzle backs among the 66 numbered cards. The printed reverses should be matched with the card code when checking an example. Neither fact text nor a puzzle fragment creates an extra base card. The same artwork on two differently numbered objects is not enough to establish that either is a variation of card 207.
The separate 34-to-44 sequence
Eleven stickers accompany the fourth series and use numbers 34 through 44. Some sticker pictures duplicate artwork shown on numbered cards, and the gallery notes at least one reused picture from an earlier series. An identical scene therefore does not prove that a sticker is a card front. The sticker and base groups remain separate in the searchable IDS catalog.
What the present gallery can show
There are 77 linked front images across the two groups and 66 linked back images for the numbered cards. Eleven sticker entries have no separately indexed reverse photos. The original-versus-corrected discussion for card 207 is a documented variant lead, not an excuse to attach an unverified image to a new code. External collector scans remain attributed to their existing source.
Sequence, photos and unresolved rarity
StarWarsCards.net supplies the basic U.S. checklist, and esbirrios supplies the collection photographs and the card 207 note. These sources support the numbering, border color and existence of the pictured correction. They do not give a reliable print-run breakdown for variants. A future variation record requires a specific image and source, with physical details checked separately from any seller's pricing claims.
