The 1983-labelled retrospective checklist and 1984 original U.S. issue refer to one physical ten-number set, not two printings. Canadian 20-piece issue is distinct. External source links only.

1984 U.S. Kellogg's original ten-card issue

Kellogg's distributed ten numbered Star Wars Stick'R cereal prizes in specially marked C-3PO's cereal boxes in the United States in 1984. Every original number consisted of a removable character sticker applied over another printed image on a trading card. Collectors found two of these items in each paper packet. The complete set contains ten physical numbered pieces rather than two different sets of ten, regardless of whether individual owners have removed the stickers.

Numbered characters from Luke through Leia

The original numbers are 1 Luke Skywalker, 2 Han Solo, 3 R2-D2, 4 C-3PO, 5 C-3PO and R2-D2, 6 Yoda, 7 Ewok, 8 Darth Vader, 9 Chewbacca and 10 Princess Leia. These names describe the main sticker-layer identities. The exposed printed card can show other figures or more of the film scene. A generic Ewok portrait does not prove Wicket's or Logray's individual identity without a clear original photographic match.

Two pictured states of the same card

Trading Card Database indexes the sticker-applied original set and the blue-border sticker-removed presentation under different linked identifiers. Both are numbered one through ten, referencing the same underlying Kellogg's product. The sticker layer can be peeled off, leaving the blue-bordered image on the printed card. Preserving both source-page links helps collectors compare presentation and condition, but it does not justify treating the exposed card as a separately sold variant or parallel.

Distinguishing United States and Canadian issues

The United States series came in C-3PO cereal and combined removable stickers with cards on the same physical pieces. In Canada, Kellogg's issued a similar twenty-piece collection of separately produced stickers and cards. The Canadian backs include English and French text, and the items were not physically combined as in the American product. This United States archive indexes the American issue only and does not borrow Canadian photographs to fill American item-level image gaps.

Twenty source links and no hosted card scans

The checklist now includes ten item numbers with two external collector references per number, one for the applied sticker and one for the blue-border card after sticker removal. These original source records provide a path for visual review. The archive has not received permission to upload, cache, or reproduce the submitted images. It records zero locally hosted licensed fronts and backs. Some collector reference images also require more detailed individual quality and identity checks before they could be featured directly.

Why this edition is dated 1984

The original 1984 cereal package evidence at the Star Wars Collectors Archive, PSA's historical survey and Trading Card Database's United States checklist support the 1984 date and ten physical numbers. A collector article shows unpeeled and peeled presentation. StarWarsCards.net labels the same ten-subject, same-format list 1983; that older source remains on a separate cross-reference page. The year difference alone is not proof of a distinct earlier run, and the archive does not invent one.
