Topps Chrome Star Wars Galaxy was released on August 12, 2026. This edition centers on illustrated artwork, unlike the main Chrome character release in September and the separate Sapphire edition in October. Its numbered base has 100 cards. Additional insert designs, puzzles, autographs and sketch artist entries expand the searchable list. That larger index should not be described as a 540-card numbered base set.
The first three numbered cards are The Mandalorian's Escape by Claudio Aboy, Padmé Amidala vs. the Nexu by Kristen Plescow, and Anakin Skywalker's Sunset by Uzuri Art. The card title names the depicted subject; the artist field records its credited creator. Both are important for finding a specific work. A character image from another product is not an acceptable substitute for a Galaxy card photograph.
The checklist includes Duel on Cloud City, Art of Rogue One, Art of the Dark Side, Galactic Anthology, and Art of Knights of the Old Republic. It also records original Chrome Layers art, Comicfractor and four distinct nine-card puzzle groups. A puzzle panel is indexed as part of its own sequence rather than as a new numbered base card. These distinctions prevent conflicting card numbers from being conflated.
The indexed signature families contain 62 Galaxy autograph entries, 10 dual signatures, nine triples and five quadruples. The separate roster lists 217 sketch artists. The artist count describes people named in a checklist, not the quantity of individual sketch cards or paintings produced. A matching signer can appear in several combinations, so the signature configuration and printed code remain part of each record.
There are 154 front-image links and 54 back-image links associated with this edition's indexed records. Many image leads originate from specific public resale listings. That source must still match the actual artwork and printed card. A front image does not imply that the reverse was photographed. If a source disappears, the gallery should show the missing-image state instead of substituting another year's Galaxy artwork.
The linked official Topps checklist PDF is the basis for printed card names, artwork titles and credited artists. The database retains separate notes for photographs sourced from marketplace listings. The 540 indexed rows include autographs and an artist roster, not just base cards. Neither an indexed record nor an artist name proves how many cards were manufactured. Changes must follow identifiable evidence from this Galaxy edition.
