The red-border continuation

Series 2 extends the original Topps Star Wars card sequence beyond the first blue-border release. Its 66 numbered cards run from 67 through 132 and its eleven stickers carry numbers 12 through 22. The red border identifies this printing group, but the series still draws on the same original film. Sticker and card numbers follow separate sequences and should not be conflated.

Scenes, ships and character images

Card 67 shows See-Threepio with Luke, number 68 shows the Millennium Falcon, and number 69 follows Threepio in the desert. The checklist alternates between characters, vehicles and scenes from the story. Printed captions matter because they connect a photograph with its precise collectible identity. A similarly posed character on another border color is not evidence of the same card.

Profiles and the reverse-side puzzles

The esbirrios collector gallery documents eleven actor-profile backs and eleven movie-fact backs within this second series. The remaining 44 numbered card reverses form two picture puzzles. These designs are part of the 66 physical card identities, not separate bonus cards. A correct front image should therefore be paired only with the documented reverse for that printed number.

Stickers numbered twelve through twenty-two

Series 2 has eleven stickers numbered 12 through 22, a continuation of the first series sticker sequence. The first entries include Han with Chewbacca and Alec Guinness as Ben Kenobi. Their images may resemble scenes or portraits on numbered cards, but the sticker number defines a different object. The searchable archive keeps both groups distinct to avoid false matches.

Existing front and back coverage

All 66 base-card entries and eleven sticker entries have front-image URLs in the current checklist. Each numbered card also has a reverse-image URL, giving 77 linked fronts and 66 linked backs. Sticker backs are not separately represented. These are third-party gallery links and credits, not IDS-owned photographs; a valid image match does not automatically establish reuse rights or guaranteed availability.

A checkable historical record

StarWarsCards.net provides the recorded series and its card list, while the esbirrios gallery documents card faces, reverses and puzzle formats. Together they support the red-border numbering without implying a particular price, print run or grade. Future corrections must cite a source showing the same release and printed card number rather than transferring descriptions from another Star Wars series.
