The September Chrome edition

Topps released the saga-wide 2026 Chrome set on September 30, 2026. This product is distinct from the illustrated Galaxy set released in August and the Sapphire edition released in October. Its printed base has 200 numbered character cards. The larger searchable inventory includes other printed treatments, inserts, autographs and an artist roster, so the indexed-entry total is not the base-set size.

Numbered characters and related treatments

Obi-Wan Kenobi occupies numbered base card 1, followed by Lezine and Chopper. The source lists 44 Topps Debut subjects within the numbered base. Hoth, Aurebesh and printing-plate booklet lists each have 200 indexed records. Those records identify other treatments of subjects rather than 600 additional base characters. They also do not establish the number of physical cards printed or their rarity.

New stories and themed inserts

The archive separates Character and Moment cards for Andor Season 2, Star Wars: Visions Season 3, and The Mandalorian and Grogu. Other named insert groups include Stormtrooper Command, The Galaxy's Cutest, Factions, Cosmic Crystals, Eras and Reflections. These are independent checklist groups. Searching by subject does not mean that a numbered base card and a themed insert have the same printed code or artwork.

Signed cards, sketches and oversized cards

Individual autographs are indexed alongside duo and triple signature combinations. The sketch artist roster lists 173 contributors; that is not a count of completed one-of-one sketches. Ten Oversized Heads Up Die-Cuts, coded CDC-21 to CDC-30, appear as a separate group. Keeping each code family distinct matters when comparing seller photographs, autograph listings and different physical configurations of this release.

What front and back images prove

There are 159 indexed records with a front-image link and 104 with a linked reverse image. Some photographs originate in individual marketplace listings and may stop loading when those listings disappear. A picture of a particular Refractor is evidence for that photographed variation, not proof of the ordinary base finish. Records without confirmed photographs should remain unpictured rather than borrowing art from another set.

Documents, methods and corrections

The linked Topps release page identifies the core set and official insert programs. The searchable JSON preserves the source checklist groups, printed identifiers and image-specific notes. An unsigned card and a signed card with similar subjects can still have different codes. Changes to printed assignments or card-image attribution require an edition-specific source. Unnumbered sketch rosters and raw entry totals must never be presented as print-run statistics.
