Quick read: The official 2026 Topps Chrome Star Wars Sapphire release has a 200-subject checklist. Topps lists a $299.99 hobby box with eight four-card packs and has disclosed Hidden Gems, Kyber Carvings and Sapphire-specific odds. Availability must be checked separately from the original launch listing.

What Topps has confirmed for the 2026 edition

Topps has published dedicated product information for the 2026 Chrome Star Wars Sapphire Edition. Its official launch listing gives a $299.99 price and a five-box customer limit, with four cards in each of eight packs. That is 32 cards per hobby box, not a guaranteed complete set or a guarantee of any particular parallel. The price refers to the listed launch offering, not the price collectors should expect on resale markets.

The release uses a 200-character checklist. Its characters correspond to the numbered 2026 Chrome roster, but Sapphire is a separate physical product with its own colors, inserts and autograph configurations. Collectors should not use images or parallel odds from the September regular Chrome release as if those documented Sapphire cards.

Hidden Gems and Kyber Carvings join the chase

Hidden Gems appears in the Sapphire product information alongside the new Kyber Carvings insert. Topps describes Kyber Carvings as a five-character program pairing lightsaber users with crystal designs and also lists scarce signed variations. The official Sapphire checklist separately documents the signed programs, including character autographs and multiple-signature cards.

Topps has released a Sapphire-specific checklist PDF and a multi-format odds sheet. The sheet must be read using the Sapphire column, because other Chrome products have different configurations. Card-family odds are statistical pack averages; they do not establish a specific character's chance of appearing in one box.

Where the IDS image gallery stands

Imperial Dark Sector has indexed 438 distinct Sapphire checklist identities across base characters, inserts and autograph groupings. This is a database count, not a claim that there are 438 different base cards. At the October 29 audit, the site had six verified manufacturer preview fronts and no verified card-back scans. The preview of Emperor Palpatine shown above is the Black Sapphire /10 parallel, not the ordinary Blue Sapphire base version.

As physical cards enter circulation, IDS will add images only when the edition, card number, subject and parallel can be verified against the actual card or a credible source. Topps' launch page remains a source for product specifications; it does not establish that boxes are currently in stock or that the original purchase window is still open.
