ARIC JORGAN AND FELIX IRESSO

Historical reconstruction and limits

In 3673 BBY the future Republic soldiers Aric Jorgan and Felix Iresso were born. Jorgan would become a Cathar military leader associated with Havoc Squad, while Iresso's later service, capture and experimental Sith involvement would complicate his role as a soldier. This date identifies their birth cohort, not a joint military action or a documented childhood meeting. Nor does species establish political affiliation: Jorgan's military service was a personal and institutional trajectory.

Anthropological reading

A shared generation of military professionals can reflect different experiences of wartime citizenship, captivity and loyalty. Cathar heritage was important to Jorgan but does not imply all Cathar served in the Republic Army. Iresso's later exposure to forced experimentation raises questions about a prisoner's bodily autonomy. Both biographies demonstrate that professional identity is acquired over years of training and coercive institutional encounters.

What is established, and what should not be inferred?

The date 3673 BBY identifies a specific event or biographical marker. Later consequences, careers and reported beliefs should not be moved backward into this year merely because the subject became famous. When the chronology uses an approximate date, it does not establish an exact calendar day.

Anthropological assessment

Military societies produce future officers long before enlistment through stories, losses, and expectations surrounding childhood.

War socializes entire cohorts, not only current soldiers.
