Original U.S. Topps premium sets · November–December 2016
Star Wars Masterwork & High Tek.
The original 2016 premium trading-card issues. Masterwork features thick 72-point cardstock, 75 numbered characters including 25 short prints, illustrated inserts and signed battle medallions. High Tek features acetate character cards, two background-pattern forms, lettered image variations and numbered inserts. Browse each physical program without mixing the 2015 editions, standard base cards or different parallel finishes.
The original premium 75-card base has 50 regular positions and 25 short prints (#51–75). Explore 80 original on-card autograph subjects, seven duals, three triples, one quad book, 62 signed medallion subjects, 35 unsigned medallions, and 42 cards across three ten-card insert runs and commemorative stamps.
112 original acetate base cards occupy two different background-pattern forms, #SW-1–56 and #SW-57–112. Fifteen letter-suffixed image short prints are distinct cards. Also browse 11 Armor Tek, 13 Living Tek, 17 Pilots & Vehicles and 67 named autograph subjects in the published checklist.
Numbered base #51–75 are short prints, not replacements for cards #1–25. Blue Metallic SPs are numbered /199. Silver /99, Green /50, Purple /25 and Gold 1/1 are different finishes.
High Tek acetate patterns
The two base forms use different background patterns. A pattern change does not create a new character photograph. Image variants carry separate suffixes such as SW-75A, SW-75B and SW-75C.
Exact original subjects
Signed battle medallions and unsigned medallions are separate Masterwork cards. Original High Tek Armor, Living and Pilots insert codes are also distinct. Each record links to character collecting pages when its printed title identifies the character.

More collecting information
Masterwork and High Tek share familiar Star Wars characters but have different original physical card stock, finishes and manufacturer programs. Do not substitute earlier 2015 editions, standard inserts or another parallel for a specific card photograph. The completed records here retain the exact available printed card numbers and clearly distinguish unsigned originals from signed-card subjects.
