KB is Fern’s closest friend and partner in hoverbike racing. She is quiet, observant, and highly capable with technology. Her cybernetic visor is not just a visual marker. It affects how she experiences the world and makes her body part of the story’s questions about access, independence, and trust.

A thoughtful problem-solver whose cybernetic visor connects technology, embodied experience, friendship, and independence. During the Skeleton Crew / New Republic, KB's role, loyalties, and circumstances change as the story develops. Work, training, displacement, promotion, survival, and personal choices all help explain how KB reaches the position seen on screen or in the source material.
