Continuity note: This story is Legends, not Canon. Its Fel Empire, Krayt's One Sith and the Skywalker descendants belong to the published Dark Horse Legacy timeline, distinct from events after the Battle of Exegol.
Dating note: The last issue, Star Wars: Legacy (2013) #18, is dated approximately 139 ABY in its issue reference. Some independent reading orders assign the Empire of One arc to 140 ABY. This page follows the issue reference and does not invent an exact in-universe day.
A Sith insurgent attacks his own Order
Darth Wredd had turned against surviving One Sith members after Krayt's defeat. His stated ambition was to destroy that movement and replace its model of many Sith under one master with a renewed Rule of Two. His campaign threatened the Triumvirate as well as those Sith he claimed to oppose.
A trap on Mala draws competing forces
Wredd maneuvered surviving One Sith members and Triumvirate forces toward Mala, a world in the Surd Nebula. His plans depended on exploiting the mutual hostility between organizations and on controlling where opponents would concentrate their forces.

Ania and the Imperial Knights intervene
Ania Solo and Imperial Knight Jao Assam became central to the final confrontation. Imperial forces destroyed many Sith infiltrators, and Wredd was killed during the conflict. The operation exposed the hidden nature of surviving Sith networks.
The survivors choose their paths
Afterward Ania was offered a prestigious role with Marasiah Fel but chose to continue traveling with her friends. This decision closed the published Legacy narrative with a focus on chosen community rather than inherited obligation or galactic office.
Anthropological assessment
The battle shows how a renegade can oppose one coercive institution while seeking to create another. Wredd's hostility to the One Sith did not make his own plans emancipatory. The final emphasis on Ania's freedom of choice contrasts with his program of forced political reconstruction.

Original publication
Legacy Volume II: Empire of One →
The Marvel collection identifies issues #16–18 as Empire of One and names Darth Wredd's attempt to recruit Imperial Knight Jao Assam. It also documents Empress Marasiah Fel's decision to send Ania Solo and her companions on a rescue mission involving the surviving Sith.
Follow-up evidence
Lucasfilm preview of Legacy #18 →
Lucasfilm's official preview of issue #18 confirms that Ania, her friends, Imperial Knights and the Empress face Sith forces, while Ania tries to save Jao. The preview does not explicitly give an in-universe year or confirm every tactical outcome. The precise 139 ABY placement remains a chronology reference rather than a date taken from the marketing copy.
Source judgment: Is Darth Wredd's opposition to the One Sith sufficient evidence that he became a supporter of the Triumvirate?
Historical correction: No. The collected story describes him threatening both the remaining Sith and the Triumvirate. Opposing one authority does not entail support for another.
