Civilians flee the devastation of Chelloa in commandeered ships as rival Sith rulers fight.
Two Sith rulers exploit one world
Chelloa's baradium deposits made the planet valuable to Daiman. His brother Odion intended to destroy it and deny that resource. Daiman used the escalating battle to set a trap for Odion, turning large areas of Chelloa into a weapon through kinetic corruptors.
Evacuation becomes the central struggle
Kerra Holt and Gorlan Palladane helped Chelloans escape the fighting, taking command of transports and cargo liners. These ships became known as the Freedom Fleet. The rescue was an improvised answer to a danger civilians had not created.
A cost measured beyond fleets
Gorlan died while helping Kerra fight Odion, who suffered severe injuries but survived. Chelloa was left heavily damaged and parts became uninhabitable. The successful evacuation of thousands cannot erase the people killed or the loss of settled places and livelihoods.
Anthropological assessment
Displacement is central to the social history of warfare. The Freedom Fleet represents a temporary community organized around survival, in which ships became both transport and refuge. Its story illustrates agency among civilians living beneath competing armed rulers.

The Freedom Fleet evacuates Chelloa
Story evidence and chronology
During the devastation of Chelloa, Kerra Holt and Gorlan Palladane helped civilians seize cargo liners and transports and escape. The ships came to be called the Freedom Fleet. The extraction followed a struggle involving the rival Sith rulers Daiman and Odion, but it is a distinct humanitarian operation rather than a synonym for the failed Jedi raid.
Society, coercion and institutional change
Refugee movements form temporary communities held together by shared survival needs. Ship capacity, access to landing sites and coordination can be more consequential to civilians than the outcome of a ruler's duel. The flight belongs to the residents' story as well as Kerra's.
