Kerra Holt survives after Master Vannar Treece's Jedi strike team is destroyed on Chelloa.

An attempt to disrupt baradium exports

In 1032 BBY Jedi Master Vannar Treece organized a mission to the Sith-controlled world Chelloa. Daiman's forces mined baradium for munitions, and the Jedi hoped to disrupt deliveries to the front lines. The operation began with infiltration through Oranessan and transport under assumed Daimanate credentials.

Jedi and Chelloan resistance

The strike team entered Chelloa and met the resistance organized by the former Jedi Gorlan Palladane. Its action against the shipment infrastructure initially succeeded, but the battlefield was complicated by Daiman's rivalry with his brother Odion. Local residents faced danger from both Sith rulers.

The raid becomes a catastrophe

Odion arrived and used a kinetic corruptor against Jenith, causing extensive destruction. Vannar and the other members of the Jedi strike team were killed. Kerra Holt alone survived, later coordinating with Gorlan to protect civilians. The event changed the operation from a sabotage effort into a struggle for survival.

Anthropological assessment

Operation Influx illustrates how civilian economies become military targets when a contested commodity supplies weapons production. The Chelloan resistance and the Jedi did not have identical roles; local people were defending their homes while offworld forces sought a strategic change in the war.

Operation Influx and the baradium supply

Story evidence and chronology

Jedi Master Vannar Treece led an effort to disrupt baradium exports from Chelloa to Daiman's war economy. The plan involved infiltration through Oranessan and an operation on Chelloa, but Odion's attack destroyed much of the force. Kerra Holt survived and later helped civilians escape as the separate Freedom Fleet.

Society, coercion and institutional change

A strategic raid treats raw materials as the infrastructure of war. The mission's failure and the subsequent evacuation illustrate why military success measures cannot capture the survival priorities of a civilian population. Baradium mattered because it supplied weapons production.
