An old threat exploits a new political division

The Lost Tribe of Sith used the turmoil within the Galactic Alliance to infiltrate its capital. Abeloth, a powerful and deceptive entity associated with the Maw, manipulated Force users and political figures. The threat reached the New Jedi Temple itself, where the Sith attempted to turn the Order's central institution against its defenders.

Coruscant becomes more than a conventional battlefield

Jedi fought Sith forces within and around the Temple while the city's government struggled to understand the enemy. Abeloth's influence extended beyond ordinary physical attacks. Her ability to assume different appearances and act through multiple manifestations made identifying the true target exceptionally difficult.

A coalition of survivors fights through the crisis

Luke Skywalker, Jaina Solo, Corran Horn, Saba Sebatyne, and other Jedi had to coordinate separate operations rather than rely on the authority of one master. Their work involved intelligence, movement through the city, and direct confrontation. Ordinary citizens remained endangered as the capital's public infrastructure was disrupted.

Abeloth attacks on more than one plane of existence

The ultimate struggle reached beyond shadows, while other Jedi destroyed manifestations of the entity in the physical world. Luke's victory did not mean every philosophical question about Abeloth or the ancient Force traditions had been answered. The story left uncertainty about the completeness of her defeat.

The Lost Tribe's campaign collapses

The Sith forces that had occupied positions on Coruscant were broken, and the capital returned to Alliance control. The conflict ended the Tribe's immediate effort to establish dominance, though the fate of every surviving Sith outside the city was not resolved through the destruction of one army.

Anthropological assessment

The final confrontation connects urban political authority with religious and supernatural legitimacy. Occupying the Jedi Temple was a symbolic claim as well as a strategic act. Recovering a city required rebuilding trust in its institutions after a threat that had manipulated appearances and information.
