EVENTS / CONTRACTS / PIT WALL

What does this objective mean?

Know exactly what an event or Backer wants before spending a League Token. This reference separates racing modes from sponsor requirements and gives a concrete way to approach each one.

Event types / Nine database modes

Find the event shown on your screen

Race

Multi Vehicle Race

Twelve-vehicle grid with landspeeders, bikes and skims. Check the required finish position.

How to approach it: Position matters; use clean exits and avoid reckless contact when ahead.

Race

Eliminator

The last racer is removed at intervals. Introduced in Act II.

How to approach it: Move clear of last place before the elimination warning, even when a boost shortcut looks risky.

Race

Galactic Gauntlet

Act-closing Eliminator challenge, often a demanding final stadium encounter.

How to approach it: Prepare a durable build and read its event configuration; surviving each elimination matters.

Rival

Head to Head

One-on-one rivalry challenge. Winning advances Rival progress.

How to approach it: Avoid costly contact mistakes; follow the selected circuit's correct direction.

Challenge

Field Test

Solo time trial or specialized objective; shakedowns include several categories.

How to approach it: Read exactly whether you need time, boosts, hits, precision or another objective.

Podracing

Podracer Race

Pod-only grid and memory race contexts.

How to approach it: Use airbrakes before difficult bends and inspect any additional Tale objective.

Podracing

Podracer Test

Solo timed Podracer challenge.

How to approach it: Compare only the correct route variant; brake early on unfamiliar corners.

Race

Single Vehicle Race

All racers use a matching vehicle class.

How to approach it: Your opponents handle the same basic maneuver, so win through consistent lines.

Race

Race [Full Grid]

An internal/variant mode label present in the database.

How to approach it: Follow the in-game description; this term alone does not establish a new player-selectable mode.

Backer objectives / How to complete

Choose a contract your craft can actually satisfy

The Broker, Hutt and Pirate each offer six tracked activities, and targets often increase as you advance from planet to planet. A high Backer rating can unlock a Favor. The game also imposes possible penalties for taking too many high-risk days. The exact requirement in the active menu is more authoritative than an older screenshot.

BACKER CONTRACTS

The Broker

Counts: Airborne time; ability hits; time at high speed; takedowns; slipstream overtakes; two overtakes within two seconds.

A timing and technical-performance backer. If your craft rarely jumps or uses abilities, avoid selecting a difficult airborne or hit target.

Penalty can turn the planet's races into Eliminators. Reward path leads to Deeper Pockets.

BACKER CONTRACTS

The Hutt

Counts: Ramjet seconds; overtakes; ability activation; pre-race checks; jumps; time spent in first place.

Straightforward if you reliably boost and check your craft before events. Ramjet-second targets are high; do not overheat merely to satisfy the contract.

Penalty reduces allowed crashes by two. Reward path leads to Team Vranki.

BACKER CONTRACTS

The Pirate

Counts: Afterburner time; System Malfunctions; time in last place; slipstream time; advanced maneuvers; Redline count.

Better for specific styles and deliberate maneuvers, not every race. Remaining in last place to farm a metric is risky in an Eliminator.

Penalty takes forty percent of planet credits. Reward path leads to Bloody Bounty.

Why my challenge did not complete

Five checks before restarting

  1. Wrong event: a regular Race does not substitute for a named Field Test or Rival.
  2. Wrong time window: some conditions must be reached within one Tour or one planet rather than cumulatively.
  3. Wrong selected Backer: reaching Derven Acos with a different sponsor cannot unlock the intended reward.
  4. Wrong finishing requirement: a win, podium and survival condition are not interchangeable.
  5. Wrong route variant: mined, reverse, special and pod versions can use different gates and rules.
