Campaign Favors / 20 rewards
Find an unlock and build a trio
Choose up to three unlocked Favors before a Tour. Their effects can improve survival, starting resources, parts, repairs or credit generation. Favor ranks improve as you complete planets while they are equipped. Some require a specific Backer, Field Test, Rival or Mystery Encounter, so a generic race win will not count.

A style changes your starting abilities and the types of actions your build rewards. It is unlocked through campaign milestones, total wins or cumulative maneuvers. Career milestones are persistent. Some sources disagree on exact early-style thresholds, so verify those targets in the game's Racer Styles page before spending time grinding one.

A practical route through progression
Struggling with crashes?
Prioritize Mad Genius and Clandestine Aid, and use Survivor. Extra allowed crashes or Tokens can save an entire Tour.
Need a stronger build?
Complete Time Trial Field Tests for Gadgeteer, then watch for repair and shop discounts.
Racing aggressively?
Look at Brawler, Brutal Calm and rival-based Favors. Do not rely on Takedowns if the next event is a solo time trial.
Completing everything?
Keep a separate record of the three Backer endings, all Tales of Podracing and style-specific Galactic Gauntlet wins.
