Togruta are a humanoid species native to Shili and represented across the galaxy. Familiar individuals such as Ahsoka Tano and Shaak Ti should not be treated as stand-ins for an entire species or culture.

Togruta have horn-like montrals and head-tails, with strongly patterned skin and faces. Their sensory biology helps distinguish them visually, but it does not prescribe personality, occupation, religion, or political allegiance.
