Who is Kestar Bool?
The Bool family controls major mining wealth on Gathleon. Kestar seeks public acclaim and uses the League as an extension of that power, bringing him into direct conflict with Shade.
Although races reward an individual pilot, each competitor operates within a larger structure of teams, workshops, patrons and social pressure. The League's expansion after the Empire's fall changes who can enter the sport and who retains enough money or power to shape its rules.
