Racers crossing Lantaana water in official footage

LANTAANA / TECHNICAL TUNNEL RUN

Moro Kehn Tunnels

Moro Kehn Tunnels combines Lantaana's jungle setting with tight race passages. The track atlas lists fourteen alternate lines and two checkpoints on its main forward layout, but a separate special route is narrower. Avoid relying on the same line when the game serves a different event type.

01 / Race brief

What to do before the start

Use the pre-race briefing to identify whether the event is a regular race or an Eliminator. In the Act I walkthrough, a Moro Kehn Tunnels event required a top-three finish. If you are protecting a League Token, finish safely before trying untested side passages.

PRIMARY DANGER · Constricted tunnels, fast bends and thermal exposure

A popular Lantaana gameplay clip shows that one cave opening may be the exit from a loop, not the entrance to a shortcut. Never rely on geometry alone without seeing where the route goes.

02 / Practical step-by-step

Follow the route

Select a stage to read the corresponding driving plan. These stages follow the progression of a race, not undocumented geographic checkpoint coordinates. Use the mapped course link above for the actual road and gates.

OUTSIDE APPROACH

Keep speed under control before entering a tunnel. A wide outside line may be preferable to a theoretically shorter path that leaves you facing the wall.

How to recognize it

Use the track's environmental landmarks as a braking reference.

04 / Route selection

Shortcuts, forks and checkpoints

14 alternative lines are recorded for this route configuration, and 2 checkpoints are documented in the course database. That does not mean each branch is faster, marked in-game as a shortcut or safe for every vehicle. The atlas has top-down and 3D geometry; inspect it before committing to a fork.

  1. Open the matching main-forward route in the atlas and identify the checkpoint sequence.
  2. Find any alternate branch and verify its rejoin before making a speed comparison.
  3. Run the same version in Arcade, where possible, and complete two clean attempts on the normal line.
  4. Test one alternative at a time, using finish time and crash count to judge the trade-off.

IDS has not personally driven this game or extracted checkpoint coordinates. We do not claim a specific left-right turn or shortest line without matching gameplay/map evidence.
