Repulsorcraft on a frozen circuit

ANDO PRIME / ICE AND RAMJET MANAGEMENT

Ice Field Circuit

Ice Field Circuit is a two-lap main forward route on Ando Prime. The track atlas lists twenty-five alternate lines and four checkpoints. Those numbers reveal a complex layout rather than a single obvious racing line, so prioritize mastering one clean path before chasing shortcut gains.

01 / Race brief

What to do before the start

Test your vehicle's turning response while freezing builds. Ando Prime cold can extend boost opportunities but weaken handling; heaters counter freezing in supported course locations. A clean, repeatable lap is an excellent baseline.

PRIMARY DANGER · Freezing effects that compromise steering

Compare a lap with conservative boosts against one that uses cold-assisted ramjet on the same straight. Keep whichever produces a clean finish.

Shortcuts, forks and checkpoints

25 alternative lines are recorded for this route configuration, and 4 checkpoints are documented in the course database. That does not mean each branch is faster, marked in-game as a shortcut or safe for every vehicle. The atlas has top-down and 3D geometry; inspect it before committing to a fork.

  1. Open the matching main-forward route in the atlas and identify the checkpoint sequence.
  2. Find any alternate branch and verify its rejoin before making a speed comparison.
  3. Run the same version in Arcade, where possible, and complete two clean attempts on the normal line.
  4. Test one alternative at a time, using finish time and crash count to judge the trade-off.

IDS has not personally driven this game or extracted checkpoint coordinates. We do not claim a specific left-right turn or shortest line without matching gameplay/map evidence.
