Trench turrets, enemy waves, and air support against a hover tank.

STORY / VETERAN / MASTERFOUR-PLAYER CONTENT11 NAVIGATION STEPS

01 · IMPERIAL FLEET

Where to start Trench Runner

On Imperial Fleet / Vaiken Spacedock, find the Combat Training sector and its glowing blue Uprising table. Choose the Story, Veteran or Master terminal, then select Trench Runner. Accept or share the same difficulty with your party; choose a matching Weekly if desired. Use the shuttle icon beside the mission in your quest journal to enter, or use the shuttle in Inventory → Mission Items.

Not a solo Flashpoint: Story means easier four-player content, without the scripted Flashpoint combat support droid. Manual group entry is available. Activity Finder playlists have changed between updates; the Fleet mission table remains the dependable place to select any named Uprising. If starting a new Uprising after abandoning another, the group leader can right-click character portrait → Additional Commands → Phase → Reset All Active Flashpoints, but this loses progress in the previous phase.

02 · OBJECTIVE-BY-OBJECTIVE ROUTE

Where to go, what to click, and what comes next

Follow these numbered steps in order. Controls are called out where defeating enemies is not sufficient to move the quest forward. Do not confuse optional achievements with required doors or boss phases.

  1. 01

Wait for all players at the first trench

Walking forward starts LONG WAVES IMMEDIATELY. Red door opens only after all enemies are dead, so do not abandon a straggler.

  2. 02

    Clear initial Republic Commander wave

Defeat the REPublic COMMANDER and incoming soldiers; LIEUTENANT JOM SHOMO then emerges.

  3. 03

    Defeat Lieutenant Jom Shomo

Dodge RED GROUND CIRCLES and finish the first commander.

  4. 04

Optional: use blue Bunker Defense Turret

In a SMALL BUILDING after Shomo appears RIGHT-CLICK BLUE TURRET TERMINAL. ONE PLAYER operates a limited turret against enemies still approaching, but it cannot reach most already in the trench and expires after one use.

  5. 05

    Continue through trenches

Clear each set of enemies before expecting the RED DOOR or next path to unlock.

  6. 06

    Defeat Captain Dakarus Garnik

Continue along the trench and avoid ground warnings. The earlier turret is not required.

  7. 07

    Defeat Nayva Isoder

Clear the waves near her and check mission counter before moving on to final vehicle.

  8. 08

    Reach General Rike's Hover Tank

Gather the group and note the PURPLE TEMPORARY AIR SUPPORT ability in the bar.

  9. 09

Destroy Hover Tank using Air Support

Dodge ORANGE CIRCLES, point its frontal cannon away from allies. When it becomes ORANGE SHIELDED AND REPAIRS, use PURPLE AIR SUPPORT ABILITY to break the shield.

  10. 10

    Defeat General Amos Rike

AFTER HOVER TANK dies, GENERAL RIKE comes down into combat. Finish this last target.

  11. 11

    Leave via Exit Area

Don't search for unspecified shuttle control; use EXIT AREA once General Rike is defeated.

03 · ENCOUNTERS IN ORDER

Named encounters and fighting priorities

  1. 01 · Lieutenant Jom Shomo
  2. 02 · Captain Dakarus Garnik
  3. 03 · Nayva Isoder
  4. 04 · General Rike’s Hover Tank

The step-by-step route above explains the mechanics alongside the point where you actually encounter each boss. Encounter labels can include a wave or objective rather than a conventional single boss.

04 · TROUBLESHOOTING

When the mission will not advance

Where do I start this Uprising?

Imperial Fleet → COMBAT TRAINING → GLOWING BLUE UPRISING TABLE → pick Trench Runner on the correct difficulty terminal → click the SHUTTLE ICON beside the quest.

Why does the next door not open?

Check whether your current objective requires a remaining enemy wave, a glowing blue console, or a temporary ability. Work through the numbered route instead of attempting to skip the locked door.

Is Story mode a solo story instance?

No. Story is the easier FOUR-PLAYER UPRISING difficulty; experienced players can sometimes solo one with an appropriate companion, but this is not the supported Solo Flashpoint style.

Where are the original in-game screenshots?

The original source guide linked at the bottom includes game-client screenshots for this Uprising. This IDS article does not substitute an invented map.

Original maps, encounter screenshots, and verification

Read the original illustrated source if you need to recognize a particular blue console, grapple point, arena entrance or mission item. IDS directions are research-based and should not be mistaken for hands-on testing in the current game client or a substitute official map.
