IMPERIAL DARK SECTOR / SWTOR ENDGAME

SWTOR Endgame: What to Do at Level 80

The story ends, but the galaxy doesn't. Choose solo content, four-player Flashpoints, eight-player Operations, PvP, Conquest or collectibles. This is an actual first-week route rather than a list of vague activities.

PICK YOUR OWN NEXT GOAL

Where should I begin?

There is no required raid ladder after the main story. Choose the route that fits how you want to play.

OTHER MISSIONS

Star Fortresses and Uprisings

These have DIFFERENT group and unlock requirements from ordinary Flashpoints. Star Fortresses begin with the KOTFE Alliance and six planetary bunkers. Uprisings are ten short group missions selected at the Fleet Combat Training table.

ROUTE 01 / 04

Your first 30 minutes

Do these in order so nothing important is hidden behind a menu or vendor.

  1. 01

Check ERAS, not just your level

Open the triangle quest menu and choose the ERAS window. Check your current purple story mission. Reaching 80 does not mean all expansion chapters are finished.

  2. 02

    Open CONQUEST

In Missions choose the CONQUEST tab. The normal personal weekly target is 100,000 points per character. Inspect the current reward preview; Heroics, Flashpoints, activities and Dynamic Encounters can contribute.

  3. 03

    Visit Imperial Fleet SUPPLIES

On Vaiken Spacedock find the section named SUPPLIES on the Fleet map. Speak to the blue Twi'lek Legendary Implants contact, accept TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS, then identify the Conquest Gear Vendor.

  4. 04

    Equip a full starter set

Use a qualifying level-80 Conquest payout to buy item-rating 324 green starter gear. Fill armor, main hand, offhand, earpiece, two relics and temporary implants. Check weapon/role compatibility.

  5. 05

    Choose your first activity

Activity Finder is the three-person icon near your minimap. SOLO leads to Heroics, dailies and eligible Story Flashpoints; GROUP leads to queued Veteran Flashpoints; PvP has its own tab.

Watch for: You do not need item-rating 344 to start playing solo or to try an introductory Story Mode Operation.

ROUTE 02 / 04

Choose a route

Follow what you enjoy rather than treating endgame as one mandatory grind.

  1. 01

    SOLO

Run Heroics, one Daily Area weekly, Conquest, companion recruitment, Eternal Championship, reputation projects or cosmetics. Try unlocked Solo Flashpoints.

  2. 02

    FOUR-PLAYER

Use GROUP → Veteran Flashpoints. Learn how instance doors, terminal interactions and boss mechanics work before joining Master runs.

  3. 03

    EIGHT-PLAYER

If subscribed, find a teaching Story Mode Operation group through Fleet chat or a guild. Begin with Eternity Vault or Karagga's Palace rather than rushing into Master progression.

  4. 04

    PVP

Queue Warzones or Arenas using the PvP tab; play objectives and review the current PvP Season track. A completed season is not an active reward track.

  5. 05

    COLLECTING

Earn reputation looks, mounts, Stronghold decorations, pets, achievement trophies and Galactic Season rewards.

Watch for: You can switch activities at any time. Class story, Combat Style and Discipline are three separate things.

ROUTE 03 / 04

A practical first week

A schedule without arbitrary farming targets.

  1. 01

    First session

Finish your active story handoff, inspect Conquest, accept Technological Advancements and make sure you understand Fleet Supplies.

  2. 02

    Second session

Complete Conquest if convenient, buy starter gear and choose a daily area or Flashpoint you like.

  3. 03

    Third session

Try one new activity: a Story Flashpoint, Veteran group, Warzone or organized Story Operation.

  4. 04

    End of week

Keep the activity you enjoyed and set one real next goal: Legendary Implants, a 340 mod unlock, reputation rank, companion influence or learning a boss.

Watch for: Check the official patch notes before following a multi-month-old max-level stat or currency farm.

ROUTE 04 / 04

What is live and what is announced?

Avoid entering an endgame system that has only been previewed.

  1. 01

    LIVE

The October 2026 7.9-series endgame is level 80, with Legendary Implants, Conquest gear, Hyde and Zeek and Rakata item-rating progression.

  2. 02

    ANNOUNCED

Masters of the Force 8.0, level 85 and Children of Nul Operation are announced or have test-server coverage. Treat them as future content until official launch.

  3. 03

    ACCOUNT ACCESS

Operations require a subscription; chapters, cosmetics and other activities can depend on entitlement and unlocks.

PRACTICAL TROUBLESHOOTING

Questions that come up while playing

Have I finished the game just because I reached 80?

No. Use the ERAS window to inspect your unfinished purple chapters.

Do I need high-end raid gear for solo missions?

No. Start with suitable gear and follow encounters; extreme gear optimization is mainly for difficult group progression.

What role is Sith Juggernaut Vengeance?

Damage. Immortal is the Juggernaut tank discipline.

Where is my next activity?

Open the three-person Activity Finder icon near the minimap and select Solo, Group or PvP.
