How it handles, and why
The new skim speeder uses controllable swing arms carrying forward-mounted turbo-ramjet engines. This engineering gives the pilot limited roll control, which ordinary repulsorcraft lack. The Knife Edge ability banks the craft sharply through difficult passages. Lucasfilm identifies its origin as a smuggling machine that Darius Pax brought into the League, where its unusual agility found a sporting role.

Some course variants restrict which craft can enter; always read the actual event rules before changing your build.

Use the class's strengths to finish a whole clean race before chasing a record. If a mechanical change makes your lap unpredictable, reduce speed and relearn the corner.
02 / Driving lesson
Cornering and boost timing
Select an entry line that leaves space for the bank, then begin Knife Edge before the narrowest portion of the turn. Hold only the banking angle needed, recover to level flight as you clear the apex, and accelerate on a straight exit. Slow acceleration makes an unnecessarily large steering correction costly; the fastest-looking bank is not useful if it leaves you nearly stopped.
Afterburner can help recover speed after a controlled Knife Edge. Ramjet produces more thrust and heat, so use it when you are fully aligned with the next straight. If you trigger a powerful burst during a sharp bank you may travel too far across the course before steering catches up.
Practice your class move without extra boosts first. Once that is reliable, use Afterburner for repeatable acceleration, then test Ramjet where you can control its heat and the next braking point. If an assist setting makes the maneuver easier, use it; the goal is consistent route completion.

Vehicle parts, upgrades and build direction
Start with reliable Knife Edge control and Cornering, then add acceleration and boost recovery. A style centered on active abilities may work if the shop gives matching parts, but there is no single guaranteed loadout. Avoid spending on maximum speed if each missed bank requires lengthy recovery. Use Hibi's parts to strengthen a technique you can already execute.

Offset the class's slower pace recovery after hard turns.
Defensive or ability synergies
Support survivability on narrow courses; pair compatible parts with a style you can use regularly.
Fuse Games describes temporary stat improvement and up to five equipped parts during a normal Tour. Parts can have synergy and can develop faults. Your specific shop inventory and chosen Racer Style change which upgrades make sense, so these are categories to prioritize rather than guaranteed item drops.

Open the issue that best describes what happened during your last race. Try the suggested correction on a familiar circuit before adding another upgrade.
I cannot steer while banking
Start Knife Edge earlier and practice without boosts until the bank and recovery are predictable.
My craft feels slow after every turn
Straighten sooner and use modest Afterburner only after the exit is secure.
I hit the tunnel edge
Enter from a position with enough lateral clearance for the bank; do not copy a landspeeder's Drift line.

Three-lap training challenge
On a technical circuit, complete a clean baseline lap. Use Knife Edge on two corners during the next lap while withholding Ramjet. Then add Afterburner on the exits of those same corners. If the completed time does not improve, refine your entry angle and release timing before increasing speed.
