In the January 15, 2026 detailed 5v5 table the named Talzin/Asajj/Merrin/Zombie/Daka team appears against this defender five with 25 successes and no listed losses. This does not establish success against a changed October 2026 team.
RECHECK BEFORE ATTACKING
Holdo, Rose, a different Poe, Rey (Galactic Legend) or a different fifth all change the evidence. Zorii's GAC Omicron and relic/Datacron choices also require current scouting.

GAME MECHANIC 01
Nightsisters gain Speed and Potency, and Specials add Plague. Dark Magick ignores Protection. Plague is removed when its target is healed to full Health.
GAME MECHANIC 02
In Grand Arena without Galactic Legends, Merrin gains 100% unpreventable Turn Meter on allied Nightsister defeat/revival and applies Plague at the start of her turns. She has zero Speed with active allies.
GAME MECHANIC 03
Zombie has repeat Taunt/revives with kit restrictions. Daka's Chant of Resurrection revives Nightsisters and heals allies, while Serve Again rewards deaths/revives.
GAME MECHANIC 04
Zorii begins Stealthed, Resistance/Smuggler allies gain survival boosts at their first Health drop, and allies recover Protection when Expose triggers. Her GAC Omicron has specific all-Resistance restrictions.
When a character bearing Plague is healed to full Health it loses all Plague stacks. Check that Zorii and the other Resistance units have not reset your progress before spending cooldowns.

Talzin's leader, Merrin's Grand Arena death/revive Omicron, Asajj's Rampage, Zombie's Endless Horde/Undying Sacrifice and Daka's revival tiers change the plan.
Talzin's Dark Magick and leader Plague engine pressure enemies even while Protection is present. Observe when Zorii's survivability mechanics activate.
Zombie's revival mechanics, Daka's ability cooldown, Talzin's summoned assists and Merrin's Grand Arena Turn Meter can gain strength when a Nightsister dies.
Asajj's Strike Fear dispels enemy buffs and heals; Daka provides emergency recovery. Zorii's Spice Runner Skills can restore Protection as Exposes trigger.
Monitor Stealth, Taunt, current Plague stacks, full healing, and Merrin's Turn Meter. A modern Datacron or weaker Nightsister may overturn a historically good matchup.

Plague is removed from a unit healed to full Health. Check actual enemy Health rather than assuming repeated Plague stacks always persist.
Merrin has zero Speed while allies remain and is immune to Turn Meter manipulation. Her Omicron gains Turn Meter on allied defeat or revival only under the qualifying conditions.
Check active Nightsisters, Endless Horde's negative-Speed condition, Undying Sacrifice charges and actual ability levels. Zombie is not an unlimited invulnerability switch.
Zorii's Spice Runner Skills offers Protection recovery on Expose and a large one-time survivability burst when a Resistance/Smuggler ally drops below full Health.
The older 25–0 result is not transferable to substitutions, new Datacrons or materially different relic investments. Review current-season exact teams.
