START WITH AN OUTCOME
What becomes accessible?
A squad farm is useful when it clears a campaign, provides guild participation, unlocks a Journey character, or gives you a functional competitive team. Identify the specific outcome.
IDS HOLOTABLE / ACCOUNT DEVELOPMENT
Create a practical, reusable farming checklist for the activity you actually want to complete. Track small milestones rather than scatter gear and currency across unfinished projects.

INTERACTIVE / SAVE ON THIS DEVICE
Select the type of goal you are working on. The planner shows six realistic checks, allows you to enter the specific character or event, and saves your selections on this device. It does not claim to know your in-game roster or automatically verify game prerequisites.
Focus on one team that completes content you can currently access.

We do not invent a fixed shard count, character level, unlock price, drop rate or event date. Record exact requirements from your live in-game screen. The planner helps you keep those facts organized.
01 / LONG-TERM ACCOUNT PLANNING
START WITH AN OUTCOME
A squad farm is useful when it clears a campaign, provides guild participation, unlocks a Journey character, or gives you a functional competitive team. Identify the specific outcome.
CHECK REQUIREMENTS
Use the current Journey Guide and unit acquisition screens. Make a list of exact characters, ships, star levels and equipment where required. Do not substitute a similar character variant.
FIND THE BOTTLENECK
A character or ship shard farm can take longer than the final gear investment. Mark the slowest prerequisite and spend daily resources on it consistently.
LOOK FOR SHARED VALUE
A pilot who also belongs to a useful squad, or a character who unlocks an important event, can provide multiple benefits. Confirm that the extra benefit is real before switching targets.
RESPECT LIVE CHANGES
Seasonal characters, Eras, raids and temporary activities have conditions and timing that change. Do not treat last month's event requirements as permanent.
FINISH ONE PROJECT
Avoid starting several rare-resource-heavy goals at once unless you can state the purpose of each. Fully functional teams usually enable more activities than several underdeveloped teams.
If you already own strong units, the best next upgrade may be a ship, character ability, mod set or guild requirement rather than a completely new character. Account progression is a sequence of decisions, not a universal six-character shopping list.
02 / RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
| Resource or requirement | How to think about it | Before spending |
|---|---|---|
| Character shards | Needed to unlock and star up specific units. | Verify the exact variant, acquisition source and event prerequisite. |
| Ship blueprints | Progress specific starships and capital ships. | Check pilot investments and any required companion ships. |
| Energy | Accesses many recurring farming activities. | Identify your highest-priority available target and ensure the node is currently accessible. |
| Gear and relic materials | Improve character progression, often with expensive bottlenecks. | Check whether the higher level is required for the specific event or kit interaction. |
| Ability materials | Unlock and strengthen specific combat effects. | Read the full ability text. A Zeta or Omicron is a targeted investment, not a generic power boost. |
| Crystals and purchases | Flexible premium currency and optional real-money spending. | Compare the in-game offer with your own free progression plan. No purchase is assumed necessary. |
| Era materials | Used in seasonal progression, distinct from legacy investments. | Check the current Episode, the active Era and what happens when its window ends. |
Daily efficiency is not measured only by how much currency you use. It is measured by whether your spending moves you closer to a defined goal. Some recurring rewards may be account-level-dependent or time-limited.
03 / COMMON FARMING ERRORS
A direct game purchase is not needed to use this planner. IDS will not represent optional packs or limited-time paid offers as mandatory. Focus on accessible activities and claim legitimate free rewards.
04 / THREE SAMPLE GOALS
SQUAD
Confirm which Phoenix units you currently own, what abilities activate under your chosen leader, and what campaign or event you want them to complete. Do not assume one 2017 lineup is universally best in 2026.
FLEET
Choose a capital ship, identify your opening ships, list each pilot, and check the available reinforcement ships. Verify all blueprint sources in-game before committing energy.
JOURNEY
Choose an actual Journey Guide unit, copy its current unlock prerequisites into Notes, identify the slowest missing component, and update the checklist after each acquisition.
The companion fleet directory lists example ships and pilots, the character directory helps distinguish variants, and the mod guide explains how to make newly unlocked units useful.
