IDS HOLOTABLE / FLEETS & PILOTS

Fleet strategy and progression

Start a functioning fleet, understand pilots and reinforcements, review capital ship paths, and plan advanced ship unlocks without relying on outdated farming locations.

01 / SHIP COMBAT EXPLAINED

A fleet is more than its capital ship

Ships have their own abilities, upgrade paths and battle roles. Many depend on a named crew member; other ships have no pilot. The result is a resource problem: investing in the ship without reviewing its crew leaves part of the fleet underdeveloped. The capital ship also shapes how the fleet plays, including its reinforcement and command abilities.

CAPITAL SHIP

Plan around one commander

Read the capital ship's abilities, turn order and upgrade requirements first. Select ships that can use that command structure effectively.

STARTING SHIPS

Know your opening lineup

Ask who can survive the enemy's first turns, who supplies control or damage, and what conditions trigger bonuses.

REINFORCEMENTS

Do not ignore the bench

Reinforcement abilities can change the battle immediately. Plan when and why each replacement ship enters.

PILOTS

Invest where it matters

Where a ship has a crew, inspect pilot level, gear, abilities and mod-related contributions under current rules.

SHARD ACCESS

Check the actual source

Older fleet farming guides can list moved nodes or out-of-date stores. Use the acquisition screen.

GAME MODES

Plan for fleet and roster

Fleet Arena, Grand Arena and Territory Wars can ask for different fleet depth and defensive choices.

INTERACTIVE FLEET FILE

Choose your next fleet project

Select your current objective. This tool returns an editorial planning direction, not a guaranteed Fleet Arena ranking.

Build one complete fleet

Focus on one usable capital ship, ships and pilots, and a reinforcement plan.

02 / CAPITAL SHIP ROUTES

Choose a fleet that fits your account

REBEL

Home One

Admiral Ackbar's Home One is a foundation for understanding Rebel synergy and call-to-assist patterns. Examine Biggs Darklighter's X-wing, Ghost, Phantom II and other compatible options you actually own.

EMPIRE

Executrix

Grand Moff Tarkin's Executrix offers a useful way to learn Imperial ship control. Review Imperial TIE Fighter, TIE Advanced x1 and related pilot investments without assuming those older ships define the modern meta.

GALACTIC REPUBLIC

Endurance

Mace Windu's Endurance and Galactic Republic starships provide another early framework. Inspect individual kits rather than assuming all Galactic Republic ships perform the same role.

JOURNEY / LATE GAME

Executor, Profundity, Leviathan

Major fleets involve specific characters, capital ships, ship shards and relic requirements. Requirements can change; confirm your Journey Guide and current acquisition routes.

These are learning paths, not rankings. An account with developed ships under one capital ship may outperform an unfinished premium fleet. Some events also require exact alignments, ships or star levels that cannot be substituted.

03 / SEARCHABLE FLEET CATALOG

Find your ship and the crew it needs

This starting directory contains 32 named ships and capital ships, with faction and crew references. It is not a full inventory of every ship in the game. Use it to distinguish similarly named units and build a pilot-upgrade checklist. For exact ability text, shard nodes, stars, and unlock requirements, check the current ship details in-game.

Why pilotless ships are marked explicitly

A pilotless droid or bomber cannot be improved by gearing a nonexistent crew member. A crewed fighter may benefit from character investment. The game determines the exact contribution, so check its current stats rather than assuming every mod or gear piece produces the same result.

03 / BATTLE DECISIONS

What to examine when your fleet loses

  1. Read the enemy capital ship and opening lineup. Determine what must be prevented or survived in the first turn cycle.
  2. Inspect the enemy's Taunt, stealth, control, target locks, assists and special ship mechanics. Ability interactions matter more than superficial visual resemblance.
  3. Check whether a reinforcement is being called too early. Its arrival ability may be worth more later, when an enemy buff or dangerous unit appears.
  4. If your capital ship is acting too late, review its crew and upgrade status where applicable, rather than only raising ship levels.
  5. For a repeat failure, record the exact opening units and replacement order. Small changes in the sequence can affect the battle.

04 / FARMING CHECKLIST

2026 fleet development

EA has discussed broader improvements to fleets, including stronger connections to other modes and clearer counterplay. Proposed future systems are not live mechanics until EA implements them.
