Assault on Tython | Exact Imperial route
Begin the Imperial Prelude through A7-M1 and Darth Arkous. Disable targeting arrays and forcefields outside the Jedi Temple, complete the observatory generator puzzle, destroy Oric Traless's datacron and use the Council holoterminal before returning to the Fleet.
Mode and story notes: Story/Solo and linked Forged Alliances: Part I from level 53+; Veteran available separately at eligible lower levels; Master for coordinated level-80 groups. STORY mode with Forged Alliances: Part I active is the route for Imperial narrative progression.

Check the linked Shadow of Revan Prelude
The required story is FORGED ALLIANCES / PRELUDE: SHADOW OF REVAN at level 53+. On current 7.x characters, the story may require completed Class Story, Ilum and Rise of the Hutt Cartel first. Open the ERAS story window to locate the active purple mission; an ordinary repeatable Story Flashpoint is not the same as progression on the linked mission.

Start from Imperial Fleet, Vaiken Spacedock
Find the purple-triangle droid A7-M1 beside the WESTERN FLEET ELEVATOR. Accept the PRELUDE quest if you have not begun it.

Enter the Outbound Mission Hangar
At the WEST Fleet elevator select OUTBOUND MISSION HANGAR. Follow the purple mission into the GREEN STORY DOOR for DARTH ARKOUS. Speak to him to begin Forged Alliances: Part I.

Keep Forged Alliances active
The separate outer mission must show Complete Flashpoint with the correct name. Selecting [STORY] from a repeatable droid without the outer mission will finish only that instance.

Use the right Fleet entrance
Go back to the OUTBOUND MISSION HANGAR and find the ASSAULT ON TYTHON entrance. The story marker is at its door; when you already have [STORY] Assault on Tython from Forged Alliances, WALK THROUGH THE COLORED DOOR rather than accepting an unrelated mode.

Repeatable entry: talk to T8X-4
For a replay, speak to T8X-4 beside the door, choose START STORY MODE at level 53+, then enter. Story Mode provides a Combat Support Droid. Veteran is a group version and will not fulfill the outer story mission by itself.

If you cannot find Story Mode
Check that you are level 53+ and not tracking a conflicting version of this Flashpoint. For repeatable solo entry, Activity Finder → SOLO → Flashpoints → this Flashpoint → TRAVEL, but retain the FORGED ALLIANCES outer quest if advancing the storyline.

If the Combat Support Droid disappears
In Story Mode click the BLUE SUPPORT-DROID SYMBOL near the active mission tracker or activate the mission item in Inventory → MISSION ITEMS. If both are missing after dropping another Story instance, that is a reported quest bug, not an indication that this Flashpoint should be run in Veteran.

Where to go and what to click next
01
Approach the Outer Defenses
Enter the Tython battlefield from the Imperial Fleet mission door. Follow APPROACH THE OUTER DEFENSES through Republic forces; the normal route follows the mission marker between the exterior fortifications.

Destroy the Artillery Targeting Arrays
Find the highlighted ARTILLERY TARGETING ARRAYS in the defenses. Destroy all required arrays before heading for the inner barricades; killing defenders alone will not complete this stage.

Breach the Outer Defenses
Follow BREACH THE OUTER DEFENSES. Fight through the opened path to MAJOR IMOS (the Imperial-faction version of the first commander).

Defeat Major Imos
Clear the additional enemy operators when they appear, then return damage to Imos. In Master Mode, assigned players carry the targeting RED CIRCLE to a shielded corner operator to remove its shield.

Disable the Outer Defenses' Forcefields
After Imos, look for the highlighted FORCEFIELD POWER CONTROLS on the route and disable them. If the path is still sealed, recheck the mission counter for remaining forcefields.

Proceed toward the Jedi Temple
Follow PROCEED TO THE JEDI TEMPLE past the exterior defense line. Do not look for a planet-map shuttle back to Fleet; the remaining objectives are within the same instance.

Destroy the Defense Batteries
Find and destroy all highlighted DEFENSE BATTERIES on the temple approach. These are separate from the initial targeting arrays.

Defeat Master Dentiri and his droids
At the next chokepoint defeat MASTER DENTIRI (also named Liam Dentiri in encounter guides). When he disappears, ATTACK HIS DROID WAVES and wait for him to reappear. In Master, clear droid adds promptly.

Enter the Jedi Temple
Proceed through the temple entrance once its mission requirement clears; in the temple continue to ACCESS THE HOLO OBSERVATORY.

Access the Holo Observatory
Find and activate the HOLO OBSERVATORY interaction as indicated by the mission. This advances to the temple security-control sequence.

Disable the Emergency Backup Generators
Locate and disable the highlighted EMERGENCY BACKUP GENERATORS. A closed door here often means a required generator is still active.

Disable the Library Forcefield
Use the LIBRARY FORCEFIELD control after the generator objective completes. Do not head into the final fight until the field has actually dropped.

Defeat Master Oric Traless
In the final chamber avoid PURPLE GROUND CIRCLES. When Oric moves to a DATACRON and channels UNTOLD KNOWLEDGE, SELECT AND DESTROY THE DATACRON before the cast finishes; otherwise he gains Enlightened and heals/damages more.

Secure the Jedi Council Holoterminal
After Oric falls, find and RIGHT-CLICK THE JEDI COUNCIL HOLOTERMINAL to complete the Flashpoint's final objective.

Return to Darth Arkous
Use Exit Area and follow FORGED ALLIANCES: PART I back to DARTH ARKOUS in the Outbound Mission Hangar. His dialogue moves the story to KORRIBAN INCURSION.
Optional activities: MASTER ONLY: Driven Before You, defeat 60 enemies to unlock the optional Republic Commander near the temple entrance. Ordinary Story Mode's Combat Support Droid can be recalled from mission controls. The end-of-Flashpoint Council holoterminal is mandatory.

Major Imos
Where: Outer defensive line after destroying targeting arrays.

Control enemy operators
Destroy smaller operators and supporting enemies when they spawn, then resume the boss.

Avoid the red circle
Move away from dangerous ground telegraphs; in Master Mode use the large red circle to hit shielded operators.

Master: assign corners
Each player covers a corner operator and positions the red boss targeting circle on that shielded enemy to drop its protection.
Stuck here? Shielded operators in Master require a mechanic, not raw damage: carry the red targeted circle onto the operator. After the fight disable the forcefields.
I finished Assault on Tython, but Forged Alliances hasn't advanced.
You must have FORGED ALLIANCES: PART I active on Complete Flashpoint: Assault on Tython, then finish the final JEDI COUNCIL HOLOTERMINAL. Repeatable Story alone will not start the next story phase.
FLEET → WEST ELEVATOR → OUTBOUND MISSION HANGAR → speak to DARTH ARKOUS inside the green phase, then find the southern Flashpoint door. T8X-4 provides the repeatable Story quest.
