FLASHPOINT WALKTHROUGH / IMPERIAL · FORGED ALLIANCES PART II · STORY 53+
Depths of Manaan | Exact Imperial route
After the two Fleet Flashpoints, meet Lana Beniko at the Fleet cantina and on Manaan. Find Transporter Esshai, disable the laboratory Security Grid, uplink two Rakata terminals, position Ortuno's water puddles safely and bring Stivastin into the fire to break its protection.
Mode and story notes: Linked Imperial Forged Alliances: Part II and repeatable Story/Solo at level 53+; Veteran for groups at eligible levels; Master for level-80 groups. The standalone [STORY] instance must coincide with the outer quest step to advance the Prelude.
01
Complete both Part I Flashpoints
ASSAULT ON TYTHON → KORRIBAN INCURSION, each with their final control interaction. Speak to DARTH ARKOUS afterward to finish FORGED ALLIANCES: PART I.
02
Meet Lana Beniko in the Fleet Cantina
Return to the CENTER OF VAIKEN SPACEDOCK and talk to LANA BENIKO in the Fleet cantina when her purple quest marker appears.
03
Travel to Manaan
Fly your personal ship to MANAAN, or use the SHUTTLE PASS: MANAAN icon beside the active story mission to travel to its surface.
04
Speak to Lana on Manaan
Walk SOUTH through the Manaan station halls to the LARGE STORY-PHASE DOOR and talk to LANA BENIKO. This grants the linked [STORY] DEPTHS OF MANAAN mission.
05
Find the Imperial Selkath Transporter Esshai
Leave Lana's room, follow the mission-marked hallways to the Flashpoint entrance and walk into the active door. For a repeatable run, speak to SELKATH TRANSPORTER ESSHAI, select START STORY MODE, then enter.
06
If you prefer Activity Finder
At level 53+, SOLO → DEPTHS OF MANAAN → TRAVEL starts a repeatable Story instance. To advance the Prelude, ensure FORGED ALLIANCES: PART II also says Complete Flashpoint: Depths of Manaan.
07
If the Combat Support Droid disappears
In Story Mode click the BLUE SUPPORT-DROID SYMBOL near the active mission tracker or activate the mission item in Inventory → MISSION ITEMS. If both are missing after dropping another Story instance, that is a reported quest bug, not an indication that this Flashpoint should be run in Veteran.
02 · OBJECTIVE-BY-OBJECTIVE WALKTHROUGH
Where to go and what to click next
01
Travel to the Underwater Genetics Lab
Use the appropriate LAB TRANSPORT / entrance control to begin the underwater facility segment. Follow TRAVEL TO THE UNDERWATER GENETICS LAB.
02
Find the Security Hub
Follow the lab corridors toward FIND SECURITY HUB and the SHUT DOWN SECURITY GRID objective; clear security droids that block the controls.
03
Shut Down the Security Grid
Use the highlighted SECURITY GRID TERMINAL when its objective appears. Defeating defenders alone does not complete the control sequence.
04
Defeat Security Commander Sairisi
The boss and his Suppression Droids alternate shield protection. ATTACK THE UNSHIELDED TARGET; when Sairisi is shielded, kill droids. Avoid the BLUE LINE ATTACKS.
05
Capture the Security Hub
After Sairisi, RIGHT-CLICK THE HIGHLIGHTED SECURITY HUB TERMINAL; this interaction is separate from the fight.
06
Find Darok, Arkous, or Gorima
The objective can be vague. Continue to the BACK OF THE LOCKED-DOOR ROOM and use the SECOND GLOWING BLUE COMPUTER to unlock the lower laboratory. Do not look for an NPC standing right beside Sairisi.
07
Uplink with Rakata Techbase Terminal 1
Follow the map marker to TERMINAL 1, a HORIZONTAL GLOWING BLUE COMPUTER behind enemy defenders. RIGHT-CLICK to uplink.
08
Uplink with Rakata Techbase Terminal 2
Find the SECOND separate horizontal BLUE RAKATA COMPUTER at its marker and uplink. The first one alone does not meet the objective.
09
Defeat Ortuno
Ortuno places water circles under players. When he casts FLOW, they EXPAND; MOVE OFF THEM before ENERGY ERUPTION or players in the puddles are stunned and electrocuted.
10
Escape the Facility
Proceed to ESCAPE THE FACILITY when the Ortuno encounter ends; do not try to exit the whole Flashpoint at this intermediate objective.
11
Defeat Stivastin (Specimen 71)
Stivastin resists most damage until its protection is removed. Tank or lure it INTO AN ORANGE GROUND FIRE CIRCLE to ignite it and strip the shield; then damage it.
12
Escape via the blue terminal
After Stivastin falls, RIGHT-CLICK THE GLOWING BLUE TERMINAL to activate the escape route. You can collect loot from crates outside the lab; use the blinking escape column or Exit Area when updated.
13
Report to Lana and Theron
Return to LANA BENIKO outside the Flashpoint on Manaan, complete her discussions with THERON SHAN, then meet Lana back on Imperial Fleet to advance FORGED ALLIANCES: PART II.
Optional activities: MASTER ONLY: Logistic Confusion unlocks the optional M2-Aux Foreman. Story Mode provides a support droid. The Security Hub terminal, second locked-door computer, two Rakata uplink terminals, and escape terminal are separate mandatory interactions.
03 · COMBAT TROUBLESHOOTING
Boss mechanics without guessing
These descriptions cover the relevant objective, visual warning, controls and known failure points. Optional bosses are labeled and do not block the mandatory story.
By Imperial Dark Sector
ENCOUNTER 01 / 04
Security Commander Sairisi and Suppression Droids
Where: First Security Hub battle.
01
Check the blue shield
When SAIRISI is shielded, switch to his droids. When the droids shield, return to the boss.
02
Avoid blue line attacks
Droids create blue straight-line telegraphs that can knock players back.
03
Master: balance the droids
In Master Mode, bring both Suppression Droids down at approximately the same time to avoid an endless transfer of shield effects.
04
Use the Security Hub terminal
When the boss dies, RIGHT-CLICK the nearby terminal to CAPTURE SECURITY HUB.
Stuck here? Damage not registering? Switch between Sairisi and the unshielded droids. Master Mode may require both droids to die close together.
Where do Imperial players get the Flashpoint door on Manaan?
Follow FORGED ALLIANCES: PART II after speaking to Lana on Manaan. The repeatable Imperial entry NPC is SELKATH TRANSPORTER ESSHAI, not Republic Transporter Dumah Ba.
