In 6900 BBY, the Hundred-Year Darkness ended at the Battle of Corbos. Jedi and Galactic Republic forces defeated the Dark Jedi dissidents who had fought them for a century. Survivors including Ajunta Pall, XoXaan, Karness Muur, Remulus Dreypa, and Sorzus Syn were stripped of their weapons and placed aboard an unarmed vessel for exile beyond known Republic space.
The final battle of a century-long war
Corbos was the culminating engagement of the Hundred-Year Darkness.
The Dark Jedi lost the military conflict but survived as an organized group.
The Jedi choose exile rather than execution
The victors did not kill all surviving Dark Jedi.
Exile removed them from Republic territory but preserved their leadership, knowledge, and collective identity.
Leviathans remain on Corbos
Dark-side creatures abandoned after the battle survived on the world.
Later settlers periodically disappeared because the biological weapons outlived the war that created them.
Anthropological assessment
Corbos is a case where punishment relocates a political problem rather than eliminating it. Exile protected the Republic in the short term while allowing the defeated dissidents to remain a coherent community.
The survival of Leviathans also shows that wartime technologies can persist as environmental hazards after armies leave.

Battle of Corbos · defeat does not end the consequences
Documented account
At Corbos, the Jedi and Republic defeated the surviving Dark Jedi leadership after roughly a century of warfare. Ajunta Pall, XoXaan, Remulus Dreypa, Karness Muur and Sorzus Syn are associated with the Exiles in later sources. The victors disarmed and banished the surviving leaders rather than executing them. The exile ship left the Republic's domain, creating a turning point that was political as well as military.
Anthropological interpretation
Exile changes the geography of a conflict without necessarily ending the ideologies or weapons involved. The removal of dissidents from Republic jurisdiction separated their leadership from the institutions that had opposed them. Their arrival in a different political society would allow them to exercise power where familiar Jedi checks did not operate. This is not evidence that the Republic knowingly intended them to conquer a new people.
Dates, continuity and historical caution
The war's final battle and the subsequent conquest of Korriban share the year 6900 BBY in retrospective Legends chronologies, but they are separate events. Some dark-side-created leviathans remained on Corbos. There is no verified complete casualty list or exact elapsed travel time from Corbos to Sith space.
Test the evidence: Was Ajunta Pall executed at Corbos?
Correction and insight: No. The surviving leaders were banished and later established rule among the Sith on Korriban.
