Of Mind and Matter

1. Step 1. After arriving at the Sith Academy as an acolyte, speak with Overseer Harkun to accept your first trial.
2. Step 2. Leave the Academy for the Tomb of Ajunta Pall and find the sacrificial chamber indicated by the purple mission marker.
3. Step 3. Enter the sacrificial chamber and speak to the hermit Spindrall, who controls the next stage of the trial.
4. Step 4. Survive his combat test by defeating Spindrall's acolytes as each required wave appears in the room.
5. Step 5. Check the journal after each group; the mission can list several successive defeat-acolytes stages.
6. Step 6. Talk to Spindrall again after surviving the acolytes to receive his assessment of your performance.
7. Step 7. Return to the Sith Academy, where Overseer Harkun may have moved to a different internal location.
8. Step 8. Find Harkun's new location using the local Academy map and complete the debriefing before the next trial.

The Plight Of The Acolyte

1. Step 1. After Overseer Harkun gives you the second trial, stay inside the Sith Academy and find its jail on the Academy map.
2. Step 2. Go into the Academy jail and speak to Inquisitor Zyn to learn whom you must interrogate for this trial.
3. Step 3. Find the prisoner Alif in the interrogation area, then speak with him about the witnessed Academy murder.
4. Step 4. Complete the dialogue with Alif until the tracked journal objective advances to reporting the results.
5. Step 5. Return to Inquisitor Zyn in the jail and describe the interrogation; speaking to Alif alone does not end the quest.
6. Step 6. Leave the jail and speak with Overseer Harkun at the Sith Academy to finish and continue to A Little Knowledge.

A Little Knowledge

1. Step 1. Accept Overseer Harkun's third Academy trial involving the ancient holocron in the Tomb of Marka Ragnos.
2. Step 2. Outside the Sith Academy speak to the shuttle droid and take the taxi to Korriban's Lower Wilds.
3. Step 3. From the Lower Wilds arrival area, follow the mission arrow toward the Tomb of Marka Ragnos.
4. Step 4. Enter the Tomb of Marka Ragnos and reach the monument chamber where the ancient holocron is kept.
5. Step 5. Try to retrieve the holocron and trigger the protective trap, which releases beasts inside the chamber.
6. Step 6. Defeat the required beasts in the monument chamber until the holocron collection objective returns.
7. Step 7. Interact with the ancient holocron again after combat to retrieve it successfully from the monument.
8. Step 8. Return to Overseer Harkun in his Sith Academy chambers to complete the trial and receive The Secret of Tulak Hord.

The Secret of Tulak Hord

1. Step 1. Take Overseer Harkun's fourth trial from the Academy, then travel to the Tomb of Tulak Hord rather than another tomb.
2. Step 2. Enter the tomb and look for three individual tablet objectives on its interior map; all three are required.
3. Step 3. Collect the tablet inside the antechamber before continuing deeper into the tomb's other named rooms.
4. Step 4. Find the machine vault and interact with its tablet, checking that the matching objective completes in your journal.
5. Step 5. Locate the archives section and collect its tablet, confirming all three tablets are recorded before leaving the tomb.
6. Step 6. Return to the Sith Academy and speak with Lord Zash outside Overseer Harkun's chambers when prompted.
7. Step 7. Talk to Overseer Harkun again to complete the trial and receive the continuation toward Martial Law.

Martial Law

1. Step 1. After The Secret of Tulak Hord, accept Overseer Harkun's combat trial at the Sith Academy.
2. Step 2. Remain inside the Academy rather than traveling to a tomb, and open its interior map.
3. Step 3. Go to the second-floor combat training room where the assigned combat-training master should be waiting.
4. Step 4. Speak to Balek inside the training room and learn why fellow acolytes Balek and Wydr are present.
5. Step 5. Defeat Balek and Wydr during the combat trial; both named opponents must be accounted for.
6. Step 6. After the fight, return to Overseer Harkun inside the Academy for the mission handoff.
7. Step 7. Complete the conversation with Harkun to unlock the final Korriban assignment, A Map for the Future.

A Map for the Future

1. Step 1. Accept Overseer Harkun's final trial and travel to the Tomb of Naga Sadow, not the earlier Tomb of Tulak Hord.
2. Step 2. Search the first mission-marked tomb area for the Rod of Hate and collect this named quest item.
3. Step 3. Find and collect the Rod of Fury, making sure its collection is marked complete before leaving its room.
4. Step 4. Continue through the tomb and retrieve the Rod of Wrath from the marked location shown on the interior map.
5. Step 5. Find the remaining Rod of Despair to complete the set of four rods required by the ritual.
6. Step 6. Return to the ancient altars and place each rod until the placement objective reaches four out of four.
7. Step 7. Meditate at the altar after placing the rods to open the next part of the class-story trial.
8. Step 8. Enter the Dashade's chamber, speak with the Dashade, defeat it when required, then finish the follow-up dialogue.
9. Step 9. Locate the way through the debris wall and follow the resulting path to the ancient map chamber.
10. Step 10. Retrieve the ancient map for Lord Zash; the map interaction itself is necessary to advance the quest.
11. Step 11. Return to the Sith Academy and report the result to Overseer Harkun before speaking to Lord Zash.
12. Step 12. Complete Zash's final Korriban conversation to receive the travel handoff toward Dromund Kaas.

Go to Dromund Kaas

1. Step 1. After speaking with Lord Zash inside the Sith Academy, be ready for Darth Skotia's interruption.
2. Step 2. Defeat Apprentice Ortosin and his accompanying thugs inside Zash's chambers to clear the departure mission.
3. Step 3. Leave the Academy and travel through the Valley of the Dark Lords to its far shuttle pad.
4. Step 4. Board the designated shuttle for Imperial Fleet; do not search the Korriban tombs for another class objective.

Onwards to Dromund Kaas

1. Step 1. On Imperial Fleet, find and board the shuttle traveling onward to the capital world Dromund Kaas.
2. Step 2. At Dromund Kaas spaceport, use the Arrivals Console in docking bay O-17 to register your arrival.
3. Step 3. Travel into Kaas City and enter the Citadel's Sith Sanctum to find Lord Zash.
4. Step 4. Speak with Lord Zash in her chambers to start the Dromund Kaas artifact mission sequence.
