AFTER CHAPTER 3 · WARRIOR / INQUISITOR / AGENT / HUNTER

Where do I go after finishing my Imperial class story?

Travel to Vaiken Spacedock on the Imperial Fleet. Find the T9-M6 droid near the inner ring, accept First Strike, then fly your own starship to Ilum. Use the shuttle on Ilum Orbital Station to reach the Imperial Base Camp. Enter the upper camp story phase to meet Grand Moff Regus.

The Ilum campaign is shared by the four Imperial Origin Stories. It follows each of their original three-chapter class stories but is not Chapter 4 of any Origin Story. The class and Combat Style affect dialogue and combat, not this Imperial planetary mission order.

Level requirements: the Imperial story start has been reported available from level 47; The Battle of Ilum story version requires level 48, and The False Emperor story version requires level 50. If a start mission is unavailable, finish your Imperial class finale and inspect your Mission Log and Eras Window.

IMPORTANT: the Imperial Base Camp has two different destinations

MAIN LEVEL: The green story-phase doorway goes to Grand Moff Regus. Use this for First Strike and the other planetary quests, and whenever you need to report after a Flashpoint.

LOWER LEVEL: Use the elevator near the camp interior for the entrances to The Battle of Ilum and The False Emperor. Do not take this elevator during your first visit to Regus or when the mission says to talk to him.

For a map with in-game quest giver markers, see Imperial Ilum quest map. Check the world-region map for an outdoor objective, then the interior floor map when you enter a mine, fort or refinery.

Cannot find T9-M6?

Finish the last class-story turn-in. On Vaiken Spacedock find the inner ring near the Inquisitor hangar; older forum guidance identifies the south-side area. A player on the official forum reported leaving and returning to Fleet to refresh an unresponsive contact. This is a historical player workaround, not a confirmed current-game fix. Check the active purple objective before resetting anything.

MISSION 01 / 05 · Imperial Ilum planetary story (post-class campaign)

First Strike

Begin the shared Imperial post-class-story campaign after the final original Imperial class-story turn-in. Defeat two distinct Duros groups, then enter Jedi Master Kaedan's camp.

Start

T9-M6 near the central ring of Vaiken Spacedock

Finish

Grand Moff Regus inside the Imperial Base Camp

The route to follow

Vaiken Spacedock T9-M6 Class starship galaxy map Ilum Orbital Station Surface shuttle Imperial Base Camp: upper entrance Northern and western Duros depots Kaedan's camp and force field Regus
  1. Travel to Vaiken Spacedock

After completing the final turn-in of your Imperial Origin Story, travel to Imperial Fleet. At the central ring of Vaiken Spacedock locate the purple Ilum story-giver droid T9-M6.

  2. Talk to T9-M6

Accept First Strike from the droid before departing; the Imperial Ilum planetary arc is distinct from your original Imperial class story.

  3. Fly to Ilum

Return to your own starship and select Ilum on its galaxy map. At Ilum Orbital Station follow the station corridor to the shuttle down to the surface.

  4. Find Grand Moff Regus

On the surface, enter the Imperial Base Camp through the story-marked GREEN entry door. Do not take the nearby elevator to the flashpoint lower level. Meet Regus inside.

  5. Defeat Northern Duros Squads

From the base use the full Ilum world map and track First Strike. Reach the northern decoy supply depot and defeat Duros units until the NORTHERN counter reaches 15 of 15.

  6. Defeat Western Duros Squads

Travel to the separate western decoy supply depot marked on the world map. Defeat the western Duros troops until the WESTERN counter also reads 15 of 15.

  7. Infiltrate Kaedan's camp

Once both counters are finished, follow the updated class-story marker to Jedi Master Jaric Kaedan's camp and cross the actual marked entry into the Jedi ruins.

  8. Deactivate the force field

Inside Kaedan's camp, find and use the force-field control before heading to the Jedi Master. Running at the boss marker will not open this barrier.

  9. Defeat Kaedan and return

Defeat Jedi Master Kaedan and his backup, then travel back to the Imperial Base Camp's upper Regus chamber and speak to him to receive The Challenge of War.

Cannot find the objective?

Two separate counters: NORTHERN 15/15 and WESTERN 15/15. The objective beyond Kaedan's barrier requires DEACTIVATE FORCE FIELD first. Regus is in the UPPER base chamber, not the lower Flashpoint floor.

Other activities: Yellow side quests, bonus kill counts, exploration quests and daily missions do not replace this purple Imperial planetary storyline.

Objective order checked against the mission database and the published Imperial Ilum quest chain. Regional entrances are described without invented street turns or unverified coordinates.

MISSION 02 / 05 · Imperial Ilum planetary story (post-class campaign)

The Challenge of War

Recover five different Kaleesh weapons inside the mines and use them for the challenge to General Gelrex. The confrontation has a dialogue-dependent branch.

Start

Grand Moff Regus in the Imperial Base Camp

Finish

Regus after General Gelrex encounter

The route to follow

Regus Pontite crystal mines Five weapon drops Ceremonial ground General Gelrex Regus
  1. Accept the next story mission

Talk to Grand Moff Regus again after First Strike. He and Darth Malgus direct you toward the Kaleesh mercenaries commanded by General Gelrex.

  2. Enter the pontite mines

On the Ilum world map track The Challenge of War and locate the pontite crystal mines. Ride to the closest unlocked travel point, then enter the mine itself.

  3. Obtain the Kaleesh rifle

Fight the relevant Kaleesh inside the mines to obtain the Kaleesh Rifle. Check the objective tracker to make sure its specific item changes to complete.

  4. Obtain the Kaleesh blaster

Continue through the mine and acquire the Kaleesh Blaster separately. It is not the same item as the rifle and requires its own objective completion.

  5. Obtain the electrostaff

Collect a Kaleesh Electrostaff from the corresponding mine encounter. Read the tracker and do not leave while this individual weapon requirement remains unfinished.

  6. Obtain the autocannon

Defeat the correct Kaleesh target for the Auto-cannon. This is the fourth separately named weapon objective, rather than a generic kill-count target.

  7. Obtain the warblade

Find the Kaleesh Warblade and check that all FIVE required weapon tasks are complete before attempting the ritual at the mine's ceremonial ground.

  8. Plant weapons on ceremonial ground

Continue INSIDE the pontite mines to the marked ceremonial ground and use the interaction there to plant the collected weapons. This triggers Gelrex's response.

  9. Resolve the Gelrex confrontation

Choose your dialogue response and fulfill the displayed fight objective: either defeat Gelrex and his Kaleesh allies or complete the one-on-one duel and speak with him afterward.

  10. Return to Regus

Return to the Imperial Base Camp's upper command area and speak to Grand Moff Regus to finish The Challenge of War and receive Shoring Up Defenses.

Cannot find the objective?

All FIVE weapon names must finish: Rifle, Blaster, Electrostaff, Auto-cannon, Warblade. The ceremonial ground is INSIDE the pontite mines. The General Gelrex fight objectives depend on the dialogue branch.

MISSION 03 / 05 · Imperial Ilum planetary story (post-class campaign)

Shoring Up Defenses

Disable Fort Salvo's protective shield before attempting the three artillery guns; respond to the holoterminal after the guns are destroyed.

Start

Grand Moff Regus after The Challenge of War

Finish

Regus after Fort Salvo and ELX-25

The route to follow

Regus Imperial Waystation holoterminal Southern shield generator Northern shield generator Fort Salvo Three artillery guns Republic holoterminal ELX-25 Regus
  1. Find the Imperial Waystation

After accepting Shoring Up Defenses from Regus, track the mission and head to the Imperial Waystation shown on Ilum's world map rather than attempting to rush Fort Salvo directly.

  2. Contact Delta Squad

Use the Imperial Waystation HOLOTERMINAL to contact Delta Squad. The message reveals the squad cannot disable Fort Salvo's ray shield for you.

  3. Disable the southern generator

Approach Fort Salvo's SOUTHERN shield generator by the marked route and interact with it. Its objective must be completed before the shield barrier can be cleared.

  4. Disable the northern generator

Follow the separate marker to the NORTHERN shield generator and disable it. Both generators are required; activating only one will not clear the entry to the fort.

  5. Destroy all three artillery guns

Enter Fort Salvo through the newly accessible path. Destroy the FIRST, SECOND and THIRD anti-aircraft artillery guns shown as separate objectives inside the fort.

  6. Use the Republic holoterminal

After all three guns are destroyed, use a Republic holoterminal IN the fort to contact Grand Moff Regus. Do not travel back without performing this interaction.

  7. Destroy the ELX-25

Follow the updated Fort Salvo objective to the ELX-25 weapon and destroy it. This task appears after the Regus holoterminal conversation, not before.

  8. Return to the Imperial base

Head back to the upper Imperial Base Camp command room and report to Regus to close Shoring Up Defenses and open A New Order.

Cannot find the objective?

The waystation HOLOTERMINAL is the first required interaction; then SOUTHERN and NORTHERN shield generators; then THREE artillery guns; contact Regus by holoterminal; then destroy ELX-25.

MISSION 04 / 05 · Imperial Ilum planetary story (post-class campaign)

A New Order

Secure three different Adegan crystal stores inside the Republic refinery, confront Admiral Shai, and open the docking bay for Imperial control.

Start

Grand Moff Regus at Imperial Base Camp

Finish

Grand Moff Regus after opening refinery docking bay

The route to follow

Regus Republic crystal refinery Blue, green and purple crystal stores Admiral Shai Shield generators Docking bay doors Regus
  1. Enter the Republic refinery

Accept A New Order at the Imperial Base Camp and track the new story objective across Ilum to the Republic crystal refinery entrance. Enter the marked facility.

  2. Secure the blue Adegan crystals

Inside the refinery, find the BLUE Adegan crystal store and interact with its shielded objective, clearing the guarding Republic forces as required by the tracker.

  3. Secure the green Adegan crystals

Locate and secure the GREEN Adegan crystals in the same facility. This is a second distinct task and does not automatically count when the blue task finishes.

  4. Secure the purple Adegan crystals

Locate and secure the PURPLE Adegan crystal stores. Confirm all three crystal-colour objectives are marked complete before moving on to the admiral.

  5. Find and speak to Admiral Shai

Follow the newly updated mission breadcrumb deeper within the refinery to locate Admiral Shai. Talk to him before beginning the combat-stage interactions.

  6. Disable the shield generators

Find and deactivate the shield generators protecting Shai as the tracker directs. The mission specifically requires disabling them before its defeat objective can complete.

  7. Defeat Admiral Shai

Defeat Admiral Shai after the shields are disabled. Keep the mission active so the game advances to the required conversation rather than leaving the facility.

  8. Speak to Shai and open docking bay

Complete the second conversation with Admiral Shai. Then follow the objective to the DOCKING BAY DOORS and open them; his defeat alone is not the final step.

  9. Report to Regus

Return to Grand Moff Regus at the Imperial Base Camp's main story chamber to finish the Ilum refinery assault and unlock the An Empire Betrayed finale.

Cannot find the objective?

BLUE, GREEN and PURPLE crystal stores are all required. Shai has a conversation BEFORE and AFTER combat. Disable shield generators before fighting, then OPEN DOCKING BAY DOORS before returning.

MISSION 05 / 05 · Imperial Ilum planetary story (post-class campaign)

An Empire Betrayed

Finish the Imperial Ilum story with two story-mode Flashpoints in order. Keep An Empire Betrayed active so the runs advance the one-time campaign.

Start

Grand Moff Regus at Imperial Base Camp after A New Order

Finish

Grand Moff Regus after The False Emperor

The route to follow

Regus: UPPER bunker Base elevator: LOWER LEVEL The Battle of Ilum Regus: UPPER bunker The False Emperor Regus: UPPER bunker Rise of the Hutt Cartel / Makeb
  1. Meet the Imperial war council

Accept An Empire Betrayed from Regus after A New Order. Speak to him in the UPPER Imperial Base Camp bunker to receive the operation against Darth Malgus.

  2. Check you have the correct story objective

In the Mission Log track An Empire Betrayed and verify its active task says Complete Flashpoint: The Battle of Ilum. A repeatable Flashpoint mission alone is not enough.

  3. Take the base elevator DOWN

Leave the main upper bunker room and use the Imperial Base Camp elevator to the LOWER LEVEL. The Flashpoint entrances are downstairs, unlike the initial Regus story chamber.

  4. Enter The Battle of Ilum in Story Mode

At the lower level choose the story-linked The Battle of Ilum entrance and its STORY mode. Do not queue for an unrelated Veteran replay if progressing the storyline.

  5. Finish The Battle of Ilum

Within the Flashpoint follow its own mission markers: take the battlefield shuttle or speeder, defeat the alien commanders, disable the security field and three generator points, and confront Darth Serevin.

  6. Return to Grand Moff Regus

Once the Flashpoint marks complete, exit to Ilum and return UP the camp elevator to the Regus bunker. Speak to Regus; do not immediately skip to another activity.

  7. Track the second Flashpoint

Ensure An Empire Betrayed now requests Complete Flashpoint: The False Emperor. If the story objective has not advanced, inspect which version of the previous Flashpoint you completed.

  8. Enter The False Emperor downstairs

Use the Imperial Base Camp elevator DOWN again and choose the story-linked The False Emperor Flashpoint entrance, on the LOWER LEVEL near the other instance entrances.

  9. Finish The False Emperor

Board the captured stealth ship and follow the mission sequence through the station hangar, power core, Arkis Wode interaction and throne room confrontation with Darth Malgus.

  10. Finish by reporting to Regus

Exit the completed Flashpoint, return UP to Regus in the Imperial Base Camp bunker and speak to him a final time to finish An Empire Betrayed and the Ilum storyline.

Cannot find the objective?

Three separate Regus visits are required: START, after BATTLE OF ILUM, after FALSE EMPEROR. Both Flashpoints start on the base LOWER LEVEL, not inside Regus's upstairs room. Use STORY versions and confirm An Empire Betrayed advances.

Where to go after Ilum

After the last Regus conversation, start Rise of the Hutt Cartel and follow the Imperial Makeb storyline. Makeb is the next large expansion campaign on this route, not another Sith Warrior-only class chapter.

Which control starts Makeb? If the ship console does not offer Countdown to Doomsday, check the Eras Window for Rise of the Hutt Cartel. A 2025 player-reported issue after abandoning Prelude can affect the ship console; the Eras Window is the suggested alternate entry. Do not reset a working quest.
