LOST OR STUCK? · MAP AND FLOOR CHECK
Before chasing the quest marker, check the route
Choose the active story mission.Press L to open the mission log and track the named Sith Warrior objective. A purple mission symbol marks important story content, but not necessarily YOUR class mission. Follow the exact title and task shown in this walkthrough.
Open the full map.Default M opens the main map. Alt + M toggles the overlay map and minimap. If your shortcuts differ, check your assigned keybinds. Start with the WORLD region, then switch to the current AREA or interior floor map.
A marker behind a wall is not a doorway. On the world map find the correct district or zone; on the local map look for the named cave, station, building entrance, lift, security door or staircase. When the target is on another floor, find a connecting passage before heading toward its map symbol.
Know which travel option is available.Quick Travel opens a world map with available travel-point filters. Choose an unlocked destination on your current planet and pay attention to any restrictions or costs shown in-game. For a new planet, use your Fury's Galaxy Map and the orbital station surface shuttle instead.
If the marker does not advance, check the VERB.Talk, use, loot, disable, exit and return to your ship are separate mandatory interactions. Read the mission's “If you are stuck” note below before fighting more unrelated enemies.
Follow the Imperial Makeb story from the Fury to the Hutt Strongholds, with nine connected missions, every necessary interaction, named elevators and map-level changes, and boss mechanics for the isotope-5 encounters. Original published map links appear beside the relevant stage. This guide uses the Imperial, not Republic, storyline.
Use the full map (default M), confirm the tracked purple mission in the log (default L), and switch to the current floor after a door or lift. Your chosen Combat Style determines combat abilities, but the Imperial campaign route applies to Sith Warrior, Sith Inquisitor, Imperial Agent and Bounty Hunter, with class-specific dialogue or scenes where applicable.
Evidence boundary: This guide verifies the named mission sequence and broad entrances from quest records. It does not claim to have personally tested every interior turn, lift or coordinate. Where exact navigation has not been verified, follow the named phase and the current in-game mission breadcrumb.
MAKEB IMPERIAL STORY · ROUTE AT A GLANCE
Which mesa do I go to next?
Location order for the purple Imperial campaign. Diagram is a sequence, not a scaled geographical game map. Change mesas via the available speeder or shuttle. Tap a region to jump to its exact mission.
Common questions from Reddit, SWTOR forums and established player guides. Player-reported fixes may vary by game version or character. Try ordinary mission objectives before resetting any phase. All answers are visible and link to their original source.
No Gravity Hook Docking Ring map marker?
After the three communications bunkers, head NORTH to the enormous space-elevator building on the north-central plaza. Go INSIDE among the mercenaries and ride the elevator. Players report the quest marker can disappear here, even though this route works.
Secure the docking ring, use the elevator to reach the Imperial base, complete the outpost holoterminal interaction and accompanying scene, then recheck travel. If the problem persists, try a fresh area entry. A 2022 player reported that verifying Steam file integrity resolved a persistent failure; it is not a universal fix.
Katha Niar's return door is locked after the estate?
Verify the three landing pads and Solida Hesk confrontation, then return via the normal docking-ring route. Players report leaving and returning to Makeb, or logging out and back in, restored the door. If not, try Reset Local Phase after leaving the instance; mission reset is a last resort.
The prototype uses a room mechanic: climb the ramps and activate the Emergency Containment Laser controls to drop lava during immunity phases. The separate Automated Defense consoles can deploy turrets. Continuing ordinary damage while it is immune is not the solution.
Friend finished Stealing Thunder but my tracker went backwards?
A player reported the quest failing to register their progress after completing the story area as another player's guest. Each player should verify their own purple mission objectives and phase conversations before leaving. If desynchronized, leave and consider Reset Local Phase or your own phase replay; this report does not establish that all grouped play fails.
Kill refueling droids until Szajin's Isotope-5 Fuel Level reaches ZERO. According to a September 2026 reply, he slumps and a rear generator shield drops. Loot an Isotope-5 Rod from a fallen droid, use it on the exposed generator and repeat for the second generator. Just picking up the rod does not unlock the forcefield.
Must I do the three-platform daily missions to finish Makeb?
No. Makeb has rotating daily and weekly missions that are separate from its one-time purple story. The story itself requires three drill sites during A Cure for Armageddon, but you do not have to complete the separate Operation: Overwatch or other repeatable daily content to reach the Archon.
Makeb mission terminal still has an icon after today's dailies?
Makeb's daily missions use a rotating STAGED system. A terminal can retain an icon when the available daily selection is exhausted. This is not proof the Imperial purple story is stuck. Look for your named quest-giver in the walkthrough.
Set an available companion to HEAL, confirm it is summoned, inspect your gear, and avoid persistent floor attacks. Greater companion influence can help. Use defensive abilities and focus weaker attackers first. Healing will not bypass boss puzzle mechanics.
Can I return after the finale says Makeb may be destroyed?
Yes. Players confirm the planet remains accessible after the main story, so optional exploration and repeatable quests do not need to be completed before leaving.
Mission conversation, boss, or terminal is frozen?
After checking the exact purple objective, EXIT the phase, then try Reset Local Phase from the character portrait. Re-enter and check the interactable. Resetting the mission from the log can undo more progress, so use it only when necessary. An SWTOR forum user shared this sequence from a support response.
Makeb's zones are physically separated mesas. Treat the shuttle / speeder network as your inter-area route. The map's straight-line objective indicator does not guarantee a drivable land bridge.
Use Gravity Hook Seven as the first Imperial command base. The campaign later moves to the Drill Control Center for Perekta and Cartel Mining Mesa operations.
Original map coordinates indicate the named quest giver or console only; they do not give a GPS route to the next locked phase door.
Quest database instructions reflect the original 2.0 campaign. If later game patches change the exact objective text or ability timing, follow your CURRENT purple mission journal.
Combat: use a healing companion when available, interrupt dangerous enemy channels and use the defensive abilities suitable for your Combat Style in boss encounters. Some scripted chapters temporarily change companions or playable characters.

Contact Darth Marr through the ship holoterminal, fly to Makeb in Hutt Space using the separate Galaxy Map, and speak with R-C92 at the Imperial Orbital Station.
Start
After your original class storyline and Ilum, board the Fury. Accept the Imperial Rise of the Hutt Cartel story via the ship's blue Mission Console, then use the ship HOLOTERMINAL to contact Darth Marr.
Finish
R-C92 (about X -3242, Y -43 on the original quest map) hands off to To Pierce the Heavens and the surface approach to Gravity Hook Seven.
The route to follow
Active purple story mission→Fury starship→Countdown to Doomsday→Next story handoff
Accept the expansion
On the Fury use the BLUE Mission Console for the Imperial Makeb story. This is separate from the Galactic Starfighter and repeatable activity terminals.
Contact Darth Marr
Locate and activate your ship's HOLOTERMINAL. Complete the chapter's briefing conversation with Darth Marr before attempting the next destination.
Choose Makeb
Open the FURY GALAXY MAP, locate Makeb in Hutt Space and choose the Imperial arrival point. Avoid older Ilum daily missions on the journal.
Speak to R-C92
On the IMPERIAL ORBITAL STATION, find R-C92 at roughly X -3242, Y -43 in the original map data. Speak to the droid before taking the available shuttle.
Follow the insertion
Take the story-linked surface transport for Gravity Hook Seven. The next mission begins at the crash-site wreckage rather than the Orbital Station mission board.
Cannot find the objective?
The Mission Console starts the campaign, the HOLOTERMINAL speaks to Marr, and the GALAXY MAP transports you. These are three different controls. If R-C92 is not interactable, check that you finished Marr's conversation.
Other activities: Optional combat and bonus tasks are not required unless the active primary mission explicitly requests them.
Mission or chapter sequence and named settings are researched from the cited mission task record where provided. Descriptions identify real task names and phase changes; unverified left-right turns are deliberately not invented.
Recover three communicator parts, secure Bunkers 72, 75 and 71, take the Gravity Hook Docking Ring, and defeat Commander J'Ruush.
Start
After the Makeb insertion/crash at Gravity Hook Seven, track To Pierce the Heavens. The orbital contact R-C92 belongs to the previous handoff.
Finish
Return to the Gravity Hook Seven Imperial story contact. Use the Central Control Console (quest-record vicinity X -3306, Y 139) to begin The Monstrous Mesa.
The route to follow
Active purple story mission→Makeb Imperial Orbital Station; Gravity Hook Seven→To Pierce the Heavens→Next story handoff
Check the landing zone
On Gravity Hook Seven, open the local map and find the wreckage. Ignore daily terminals until the purple mission is tracked.
Find all three parts
Scavenge exactly THREE COMMUNICATOR PARTS from the crashed wreckage. The objective must complete before the chain advances.
Bunker 72
Follow the orange paths shown on the source's Gravity Hook Seven map and secure COMMUNICATIONS BUNKER 72. Read the tracker for the required interaction inside.
Bunker 75
Travel to the separate COMMUNICATIONS BUNKER 75 and complete its secure objective. Do not mistake the Defensive Data daily for this purple task.
Bunker 71
Secure COMMUNICATIONS BUNKER 71 as the third named story bunker. All three bunkers are independent objectives.
Reach the docking ring
Once Bunkers 72, 75 and 71 are secured, head NORTH to the huge SPACE ELEVATOR / GRAVITY HOOK BUILDING in the north-central plaza. ENTER the structure among the mercenaries and ride its ELEVATOR. Players report that the mission marker can disappear here.
Kill Commander J’Ruush
Clear the docking ring's mandatory defenders and defeat COMMANDER J'RUUSH. The additional Regulator kill counts are not required.
Advance at the console
Open the Gravity Hook Seven command area and use the CENTRAL CONTROL CONSOLE, around X -3306, Y 139 on the published quest map.
Cannot find the objective?
Missing docking-ring objective marker? Head NORTH to the huge GRAVITY HOOK TOWER and take the ELEVATOR inside. Verify three communicator parts and Bunkers 72, 75, 71 first. Extra Regulator and docking-ring kill counts are bonus tasks.
Other activities: Optional combat and bonus tasks are not required unless the active primary mission explicitly requests them.
Mission or chapter sequence and named settings are researched from the cited mission task record where provided. Descriptions identify real task names and phase changes; unverified left-right turns are deliberately not invented.
Secure the estate outpost holoterminal, defeat the guards at all three Hutt landing pads, sabotage the pads, then confront Solida Hesk in her guest house.
Start
Begin at the Central Control Console inside Gravity Hook Seven. For Solida Hesk's estate, go to the Gravity Hook LOADING RING on LEVEL TWO and use the estate speeder.
Finish
Return to Gravity Hook Seven and report to Katha Niar, who begins A World Aflame.
The route to follow
Active purple story mission→Solida Hesk's estate; Gravity Hook Seven→The Monstrous Mesa of Solida Hesk→Next story handoff
Ride the estate speeder
From Gravity Hook Seven find the LOADING RING, go to its SECOND LEVEL, and ride the designated SPEEDER to Solida Hesk's estate.
Secure the outpost
At the arrival outpost use the HOLOTERMINAL. Check the estate map to locate the three separated landing-pad routes.
Manju’s landing pad
Reach MANJU THE HUTT'S LANDING PAD, defeat MANJU'S SLAVER COMMANDER, and sabotage the pad using the quest interaction.
Khobisho’s landing pad
Reach KHOBISHO THE HUTT'S LANDING PAD (some older guides spell this name Khoisho). Defeat the BEAST MASTER, then sabotage the pad.
Prodoranya’s landing pad
At PRODORANYA THE HUTT'S LANDING PAD, defeat the BODYGUARDS and perform the pad sabotage interaction.
Find the guest house
With all three pad objectives complete, follow the ESTATE GUEST HOUSE entrance rather than clearing the open courtyard's bonus sensors.
Confront Solida Hesk
Enter the appropriate story phase and confront SOLIDA HESK for the isotope-5 intelligence.
Return to Katha Niar
Take the available estate travel back to Gravity Hook Seven. Report to KATHA NIAR to begin A World Aflame.
Cannot find the objective?
The SPEEDER is on the loading ring's SECOND LEVEL, not the main surface shuttle area. Pad targets belong to Manju, Khobisho and Prodoranya. Ground sensors, courtyard enemy counts and Security Chief analysis are part of Hesk's Hospitality BONUS. If the return door to Katha Niar stays shut after the estate mission, players report that leaving Makeb and returning or relogging restored it; try local phase reset before resetting the entire mission.
Other activities: Optional combat and bonus tasks are not required unless the active primary mission explicitly requests them.
Mission or chapter sequence and named settings are researched from the cited mission task record where provided. Descriptions identify real task names and phase changes; unverified left-right turns are deliberately not invented.
Destroy three mercenary hover tanks, secure a holoterminal, find Pollus Avesta at Kinlo Plantation, defeat its defense droids, and speak to Avesta.
Start
Talk to Katha Niar on Gravity Hook Seven (about X -3307, Y 132) and use Makeb's shuttle/speeder route to WESTWATER SETTLEMENTS.
Finish
Return to Katha Niar on Gravity Hook Seven to accept Stealing Thunder.
The route to follow
Active purple story mission→Makeb civilian areas; Gravity Hook Seven→A World Aflame→Next story handoff
Travel to Westwater
From Gravity Hook Seven use the Makeb transport network for WESTWATER SETTLEMENTS. Makeb's isolated mesas are not joined by one continuous drivable road.
Destroy three tanks
On the Westwater combat route, destroy all THREE MERCENARY HOVER TANKS. Follow the map's quest circles to each vehicle.
Secure the holoterminal
Locate and interact with the HOLOTERMINAL after the hovertanks are destroyed.
Enter Kinlo Plantation
Find KINLO PLANTATION, not an unrelated open-street confrontation. Follow the named plantation access/mission phase.
Clear the defenders
Defeat the mandatory DEFENSE DROIDS blocking the approach to the civilian leader.
Talk to Pollus Avesta
Locate POLLUS AVESTA inside the mission area and finish his conversation about the uprising.
Return to command
Travel back to GRAVITY HOOK SEVEN and speak to KATHA NIAR. The next target is Volcanic Mesa.
Cannot find the objective?
The required targets are THREE HOVER TANKS, the holoterminal, KINLO PLANTATION and its DEFENSE DROIDS. The For the Resistance 20-Regulator tally is a BONUS.
Other activities: Optional combat and bonus tasks are not required unless the active primary mission explicitly requests them.
Mission or chapter sequence and named settings are researched from the cited mission task record where provided. Descriptions identify real task names and phase changes; unverified left-right turns are deliberately not invented.
Place charges in the two volcanic caves, infiltrate Stronghold One, open its isotope-5 vault, defeat the prototype droid, and inspect the storage tanks.
Start
After A World Aflame, accept Stealing Thunder from Katha Niar at Gravity Hook Seven and travel to VOLCANIC MESA. The main fortress is STRONGHOLD ONE.
Finish
Complete the story's final Isotope-5 storage/security outcomes, including any phase-specific shield controls or Cytharat dialogue shown in your log; report back to Katha Niar for Descent into the Core.
The route to follow
Active purple story mission→Stronghold One on Makeb→Stealing Thunder→Next story handoff
Travel to Volcanic Mesa
Use Makeb's appropriate shuttle/speeder destination for VOLCANIC MESA. Stronghold One lies inside the volcanic mesa, not the Westwater zone.
Southern cave: three charges
Enter the SOUTHERN CAVE and plant all THREE mission explosive charges. A simple enemy kill will not register the explosives.
Northern cave: two charges
Move to the NORTHERN CAVE and plant both required charges. Then follow the final-charge objective in the active purple log.
Plant the final explosive
Place the FINAL CHARGE. The mission then shifts toward the landing pads, so reopen the local map and use the new approach.
Secure the access holoterminal
Reach the LANDING PADS and use the required HOLOTERMINAL to move from the external route into Stronghold One.
Enter Stronghold One
Enter the story instance and reach its SECURITY OFFICE. Fight ENFORCER VORJOK and accompanying mercenaries, then finish his conversation.
Unlock the central vault
Use the CENTRAL VAULT DOOR CONTROL, not the outer landing-pad terminal. Proceed to the Prototype Isotope-5 Droid chamber.
Use the defense controls
Locate the AUTOMATED DEFENSE CONTROL CONSOLES flanking the boss room. You can activate two defense turrets as assistance.
Counter the prototype’s immunity
Fight the PROTOTYPE ISOTOPE-5 DROID. At about 75%, 50% and 25% HP, when it becomes immune, use the upper-ramp panels by the EMERGENCY CONTAINMENT LASERS to release lava and break its immunity.
Avoid the ground attack
Move out of the boss's HEAT-SEEKING MISSILE ground marker. The attack can knock the Juggernaut back; return to melee after the blast.
Open isotope-5 storage
ACCESS THE ISOTOPE-5 STORAGE TANKS and defeat the LESSER ISOTOPE-5 DROID. Inspect the downed droid when prompted.
Finish conditional follow-up
Depending on the story branch, disable SHIELD GENERATORS, override HEAT SHIELD CONTROLS, or complete the MERCENARY/CYTHARAT dialogue shown. Follow the current purple mission verb.
Report to Katha
Exit the Stronghold story instance through its accessible return route and speak with KATHA NIAR at Gravity Hook Seven.
Cannot find the objective?
Do not keep hitting the PROTOTYPE ISOTOPE-5 DROID while immune. At roughly 75%, 50% and 25% health, climb the room ramps and activate the panels by EMERGENCY CONTAINMENT LASERS to drop lava on it. Automated Defense Control Consoles can summon two support turrets. CO-OP WARNING: before leaving the phase, check that EACH player received credit in their own purple mission log. Guests have reported desynchronized 'Disable Shield Generators' progress.
Other activities: Optional combat and bonus tasks are not required unless the active primary mission explicitly requests them.
Mission or chapter sequence and named settings are researched from the cited mission task record where provided. Descriptions identify real task names and phase changes; unverified left-right turns are deliberately not invented.
Use the abandoned mining shaft, activate three generators, defend the Seismic Pulse Inductor, operate the mining drill, and escape the regulator ambush.
Start
Take Descent into the Core from Katha Niar at Gravity Hook Seven, then travel to ABANDONED MINING MESA rather than returning to Stronghold One.
Finish
Report to Katha Niar after the squad-leader encounter. The next story handoff moves to the DRILL CONTROL CENTER for Recruitment Day.
The route to follow
Active purple story mission→Makeb planetary core access shaft→Descent into the Core→Next story handoff
Travel to Abandoned Mining Mesa
Choose ABANDONED MINING MESA on Makeb travel. This is a separate region from Volcanic Mesa, so do not search for the new shaft at Stronghold One.
Secure the holoterminal
Find the quest's HOLOTERMINAL and use it to initialize the mine operation.
Activate three generators
Track and ACTIVATE ALL THREE GENERATORS. Check that the mission tally reaches 3/3.
Enter the Mine Shaft
Use the named MINE SHAFT entrance after generator activation; this is an interior access point.
Change to Maintenance Shaft
Proceed into the separate MAINTENANCE SHAFT and use its local interior map, not the planet exterior.
Operate the control console
Reach and activate the shaft's CONTROL CONSOLE to begin the seismic-device sequence.
Defend the Seismic Pulse Inductor
Protect the SEISMIC PULSE INDUCTOR until the scripted enemies are defeated and the mission advances.
Kill the Deep Dweller
Defeat the FEROCIOUS DEEP DWELLER that emerges in this area. Use defensive cooldowns and interrupt dangerous casts if the current fight permits it.
Use the Mining Drill Console
Interact with the MINING DRILL CONSOLE after the creature fight. Do not leave the shaft before this objective credits.
Escape the shaft
Return along the mission-approved maintenance-shaft exit; consult the local floor map when the objective changes to ESCAPE.
Confront the regulators
Outside the shaft, confront the REGULATOR SQUAD LEADER, defeat the required Regulators and mercenary leader, then finish the Squad Leader dialogue.
Turn in at Drill Control
Report to KATHA NIAR. The next episode, Recruitment Day, uses the DRILL CONTROL CENTER rather than the previous volcanic insertion.
Cannot find the objective?
This route moves through TWO named shafts. After three generators, enter MINE SHAFT → MAINTENANCE SHAFT → CONTROL CONSOLE. If the marker seems under your feet, locate the interior level transition. The 12 Underwalkers/Subteroths are BONUS.
Other activities: Optional combat and bonus tasks are not required unless the active primary mission explicitly requests them.
Mission or chapter sequence and named settings are researched from the cited mission task record where provided. Descriptions identify real task names and phase changes; unverified left-right turns are deliberately not invented.
Secure three quake shelters, find a Republic caravan, clear the debris, defeat the Hutt mercenaries and prototype droid, and speak with Doctor Cherush.
Start
Find Katha Niar in the DRILL CONTROL CENTER (approximately X -2365, Y 1643). Travel to PEREKTA MESA to find the captured engineers.
Finish
Complete the follow-up Republic Special Forces encounter, speak to Doctor Cherush again if prompted, then return to Katha Niar for A Cure for Armageddon.
The route to follow
Active purple story mission→Drill Control Center and Phobium Squad camp→Recruitment Day→Next story handoff
Begin at Drill Control Center
Speak to KATHA NIAR in the Drill Control Center, near X -2365, Y 1643. Your active mission should now say Recruitment Day.
Reach Perekta Mesa
Take the available surface travel to PEREKTA MESA. Do not follow the earlier Abandoned Mining Mesa mine-shaft entrance.
Secure three quake shelters
Find and SECURE ALL THREE QUAKE SHELTERS. Verify the counter reaches 3/3 before pursuing the caravan.
Locate the caravan
Use the updated Perekta map marker to locate the REPUBLIC CARAVAN involved in the evacuation.
Clear the obstruction
Use the marked interaction to CLEAR THE DEBRIS blocking the next stage of the rescue.
Defeat mercenaries and prototype
Defeat the HUTT MERCENARIES and destroy the PROTOTYPE ISOTOPE-5 DROID guarding the prisoners.
Talk with Doctor Cherush
Find DOCTOR CHERUSH and complete the conversation after the prisoners are freed.
Deal with Republic Special Forces
If the next mission phase moves to REPUBLIC SPECIAL FORCES, defeat them, then return to DOCTOR CHERUSH for the ensuing dialogue.
Report to Katha Niar
Return to the DRILL CONTROL CENTER and finish the Recruitment Day briefing with Katha Niar.
Cannot find the objective?
Don't spend time defeating a fixed number of PHOBIUM SQUAD troops: that is a BONUS. Main story progression goes QUAKE SHELTERS → REPUBLIC CARAVAN → DEBRIS → HUTT MERCENARIES and ISOTOPE-5 DROID → DOCTOR CHERUSH → return.
Other activities: Optional combat and bonus tasks are not required unless the active primary mission explicitly requests them.
Mission or chapter sequence and named settings are researched from the cited mission task record where provided. Descriptions identify real task names and phase changes; unverified left-right turns are deliberately not invented.
Secure three named drill sites, fight the isotope-5 droids, acquire three P-20 missiles, destroy three Warhound skyfighters, and disable three cannon emplacements.
Start
Accept A Cure for Armageddon from Katha Niar at the Drill Control Center (roughly X -2365, Y 1643) and travel to CARTEL MINING MESA.
Finish
Finish at Drill Site Fwanna and return to Katha Niar, then Nadrin at Drill Control Center. Nadrin begins Revenge of the Archon.
The route to follow
Active purple story mission→Cartel mining mesa; laser-drill controls→A Cure for Armageddon→Next story handoff
Travel to Cartel Mining Mesa
Find CARTEL MINING MESA using the world map and Makeb's travel network. Do not return to the Perekta quake shelters.
Defeat isotope-5 droids
Destroy the THREE ISOTOPE-5 DROIDS guarding the drilling infrastructure.
Secure Drill Site Dopa
Reach the DRILL SITE DOPA mission area and secure the site as instructed.
Get three P-20 missiles
Fight designated local hostiles until you acquire THREE P-20 MISSILES as mission drops. Check inventory/mission counter.
Shoot down three skyfighters
Use the P-20 missiles on THREE WARHOUND SKYFIGHTERS. Normal weapon attacks do not replace the quest-item interaction.
Defeat Warhound and retinue
Defeat THE WARHOUND and the WARHOUND'S RETINUE in the scripted ground encounter.
Secure Drill Site Bo
Follow the map to DRILL SITE BO and finish the secure objective there.
Destroy three cannons
Locate and destroy all THREE CANNON EMPLACEMENTS. The count is separate from the skyfighter tally.
Secure Drill Site Fwanna
Finish the main sequence by securing DRILL SITE FWANNA; ensure it registers before leaving the mesa.
Return to Katha, then Nadrin
Travel back to the DRILL CONTROL CENTER, speak to KATHA NIAR and then NADRIN, the final mission's separate giver.
Cannot find the objective?
The missile objective requires THREE P-20 MISSILES dropped by local enemies and THREE WARHOUND SKYFIGHTERS. The four-stage Archon's Armageddon bonus (enemy kills, arrays and code cylinder) is NOT required. Skip unrelated rotating DAILY/WEEKLY terminal missions such as Operation: Overwatch; they are not necessary for the one-time purple story.
Other activities: Optional combat and bonus tasks are not required unless the active primary mission explicitly requests them.
Mission or chapter sequence and named settings are researched from the cited mission task record where provided. Descriptions identify real task names and phase changes; unverified left-right turns are deliberately not invented.
Reconfigure three turret controls, locate the interrogation chamber, free Katha Niar, defeat the Archon's elite guard and defeat Szajin the Archon.
Start
Speak with Nadrin in the DRILL CONTROL CENTER (approximately X -2363, Y 1641) and travel to the HUTT STRONGHOLDS for the Archon's Palace confrontation.
Finish
Talk with Szajin after the fight, then REPORT TO DARTH MARR to conclude the Imperial Rise of the Hutt Cartel story. Forged Alliances follows.
The route to follow
Active purple story mission→Archon's Palace; Drill Control Center→Revenge of the Archon→Next story handoff
Speak to Nadrin
At DRILL CONTROL CENTER speak with NADRIN, near X -2363, Y 1641, after completing A Cure for Armageddon.
Travel to Hutt Strongholds
Choose the HUTT STRONGHOLDS destination on Makeb rather than the Solida Hesk estate or Volcanic Mesa.
Secure the holoterminal
At the Archon's outer defenses locate and use the required HOLOTERMINAL to enable the palace assault.
Reconfigure first two turrets
Find and RECONFIGURE the WESTERN and SOUTHERN TURRET CONTROLS listed by the quest record. The 2013 player guide labels the initial pair differently; follow the active mission names.
Reconfigure eastern turret
Locate the separate EASTERN TURRET CONTROL and finish its interaction.
Reach interrogation chamber
Find the INTERROGATION CHAMBER entrance in the palace interior, using the current level's map rather than exterior mesa map.
Defeat elite guard
Beat the ARCHON'S ELITE GUARD, then speak to KATHA NIAR and complete her rescue conversation.
Stop the fuel drones
At SZAJIN THE ARCHON, prioritize his REFUELING DROIDS. These add dangerous FUEL STACKS to the boss if allowed to complete their task.
Respond to Emergency Recharge
Keep defeating refueling droids until the Archon's 'Isotope-5 Fuel Level' reaches ZERO. Players report he slumps and the rear forcefield drops. Pick up an ISOTOPE-5 ROD from a droid and use it on the now-exposed generator; repeat for the second generator.
Finish the boss fight
Return to damaging the ARCHON after neutralizing the shield/refuel mechanics. Use defensive cooldowns against his high-damage fuel attacks.
Speak to Szajin
Complete the post-fight conversation with SZAJIN rather than leaving the boss chamber immediately.
Report to Darth Marr
Use the story's return conversation with DARTH MARR to finish the expansion and proceed to Forged Alliances.
Cannot find the objective?
To drop the ARCHON GENERATOR SHIELD, defeat REFUELING DROIDS until Szajin's Isotope-5 Fuel Level reaches ZERO. Only then will the rear generator forcefield drop. Use an Isotope-5 Rod on the EXPOSED generator and repeat for the second one. Merely looting a rod does not open the shield.
Other activities: Optional combat and bonus tasks are not required unless the active primary mission explicitly requests them.
Mission or chapter sequence and named settings are researched from the cited mission task record where provided. Descriptions identify real task names and phase changes; unverified left-right turns are deliberately not invented.
