SITH WARRIOR · CHAPTER 2 · PLAN ZERO

Do not fly to Quesh before visiting Vengean's flagship

The first destination for Ambush! is a flagship in Hutt Space. After dealing with Moff Masken on the bridge, your next stop is Quesh, where Admiral Monk has retreated to Fort Phalanx. Use the Galaxy Map for the flagship, the orbital station medical officer for planetary access, and the in-game class marker for the fort.

Every story step, including the Admiral Monk dialogue after the fight, is shown directly. Bonus enemy counts do not block the main mission. No fabricated corridor turns or fake GPS points.

Quesh access requirement: inoculation before the shuttle

Original planet range: levels 36–37. Modern SWTOR gives more experience, so your character may be higher. An unusual Quesh access gate remains important: the shuttle requires a medical officer's inoculation against the toxic atmosphere. You can find the officer at the Quesh Orbital Station.

If the officer's mission is unavailable and the shuttle refuses you, check your level. Historical EA support discussion reports characters below approximately level 33 unable to accept the inoculation. Gain a few levels through existing planetary missions or other activities and return. This is a minimum-access issue, not proof that your Sith Warrior class mission is broken.

Once inoculated, take the orbital station shuttle to the surface. The separate Toxic Clash planetary story may appear, but its venom-mine tasks are not necessary for Ambush!.

Vengeance Juggernaut: bridge and fort battles

Around the original level range, you should have several Vengeance damage abilities, but unlocked skills vary with modern progression and your loadout. Keep a companion set to Healing if needed, attack the hostile supporting enemies and use appropriate defensive cooldowns against Masken and Monk. The main mission never requires defeating all 20 enemies for the optional bonuses.

MISSION 01 / 02 · Chapter 2 · Plan Zero · Main story

Ambush!

The first destination is Darth Vengean's flagship in Hutt Space, not the planet's surface. Then travel to Quesh, receive the required inoculation at the orbital station and find Admiral Monk at Fort Phalanx.

Start

Fury holoterminal after General Faraire on Taris

Finish

Return to the Fury holoterminal after confronting Admiral Monk

The route to follow

Fury holoterminal after General Faraire Galaxy Map: Hutt Space Darth Vengean's Flagship Board and find the ship's bridge Confront Moff Masken Defeat Masken and supporters Back to Fury: Quesh Quesh Orbital Station Medical officer: inoculation Shuttle down to Quesh Find Fort Phalanx Talk to Admiral Monk Defeat Monk and his guards Talk to Monk again Fury holoterminal
  1. Receive Darth Baras's urgent assignment

Finish the Fury holoterminal conversation after General Faraire on Taris. The next target is Republic Admiral Monk, who has besieged Darth Vengean's flagship in Hutt Space.

  2. Set the Galaxy Map to the Hutt Space destination

On your Fury, open the Galaxy Map and locate Darth Vengean's Flagship as a separate space destination. Do not simply select the Quesh planetary shuttle at this stage.

  3. Travel to and board Darth Vengean's flagship

Select the flagship destination. Once the Fury docks, leave through the mission-accessible ship passage and enter Darth Vengean's vessel, which has Republic boarding forces aboard.

  4. Find the passage to the flagship bridge

Move through the ship interior toward the mission-marked bridge. Fight enemies blocking the route, but do not waste time clearing every optional Republic boarding group.

  5. Speak with Moff Masken on the bridge

Approach the bridge commander Moff Masken and complete his conversation. Masken accuses your master of treachery and explains that Monk already escaped toward Quesh.

  6. Defeat Masken and his supporters

Fight Moff Masken and the supporters who become hostile. Use whatever Vengeance and defensive abilities your Juggernaut has unlocked, then follow the updated objective toward Quesh.

  7. Return to your Fury and fly to Quesh

Retrace the way to your docked ship, use its Galaxy Map, and travel to Quesh. The next objective is on the planet, not elsewhere aboard Vengean's flagship.

  8. Find the medical officer on Quesh Orbital Station

When you arrive at the orbital station, locate the medical officer, marked with a planetary story mission symbol, and accept the inoculation against Quesh's toxic atmosphere.

  9. Complete inoculation BEFORE boarding the shuttle

If the shuttle says you need inoculation, speak to the medical officer first. Some characters below approximately level 33 cannot accept the required mission; earn levels elsewhere and return if the medical officer does not offer it.

  10. Use the shuttle to reach Quesh's surface

After the medical officer grants the inoculation, take the planetary shuttle down to Quesh. The original intended planetary range is around levels 36 to 37, although modern leveling varies.

  11. Use the local Quesh map to find Fort Phalanx

Open the surface map and set Ambush! as the tracked class mission. Follow traversable roads toward Fort Phalanx, a Republic outpost, rather than the optional Three Families Palace or venom-mining objectives.

  12. Enter the Fort Phalanx mission area

At the fort, use your mission marker to identify the accessible entrance to Admiral Monk's position. The broad Quesh map does not show reliable room-by-room directions within the fort.

  13. Confront Admiral Monk

Approach Monk and complete the opening conversation. He explains the political circumstances of his siege and the mission tracker advances to the hostile encounter.

  14. Defeat Monk and his personal guards

Fight Admiral Monk and the guards specified in the main quest. A healing companion and defensive cooldowns are useful if several guards attack your Vengeance Juggernaut simultaneously.

  15. Speak to Monk again after the encounter

Do not leave the fort as soon as the fight ends. Interact with the defeated admiral for the required final dialogue, then check the journal for your ship-report objective.

  16. Return to the Fury and contact Darth Baras

Use your unlocked Imperial transport route back to the surface shuttle, reach the orbital station and Fury, and activate the ship holoterminal to finish Ambush! and receive Debriefing.

Cannot find the objective?

Common block: Quesh surface shuttle refuses access without the medical officer's inoculation. If the officer cannot give the mission, check your character's level. For the story, first reach Vengean's flagship BRIDGE, then after Quesh find Fort Phalanx. The post-battle Speak with Admiral Monk objective is mandatory.

Other activities: Boarding Party (defeat 20 Republic boarding troops) and Monk's Men (defeat 20 Fort Phalanx guards) are optional bonus missions. The Sith Warrior story does not require their bonus kill counts.

Tasks and named places are supported by linked quest records. Where available sources do not identify a particular corridor turn or building doorway, use the active class-mission marker rather than an invented route.

MISSION 02 / 02 · Chapter 2 · Plan Zero · Hoth handoff

Debriefing

Debriefing is the mandatory Hoth travel and check-in mission. Meet Commander Lanklyn's operation by contacting him and finding Ensign Slinte at Dorn Base after arriving on the ice planet.

Start

Fury ship holoterminal after finishing Ambush!

Finish

Ensign Slinte and the start of Rescue Lanklyn on Hoth

The route to follow

Fury holoterminal after Ambush! Galaxy Map: Hoth Fury ship holoterminal on arrival Hoth orbital shuttle Surface Imperial arrival Dorn Base Command Center Contact Commander Lanklyn Speak to Ensign Slinte
  1. Receive the new Plan Zero assignment

Finish the Fury holoterminal dialogue after Admiral Monk. Darth Baras sends the Warrior to Hoth to track Jedi Knight Xerender, the final Plan Zero target.

  2. Use the Galaxy Map to select Hoth

Remain aboard the Fury and select Hoth. Its planetary story is separate from the Quesh industrial campaign, so do not hunt for Xerender inside Fort Phalanx.

  3. Call Baras from your ship holoterminal on arrival

After reaching Hoth, use the Fury holoterminal again before exiting. The quest specifically requires this contact to confirm the hunt and the Imperial liaison.

  4. Travel down to Hoth's Imperial surface arrival area

Leave the Fury for Hoth Orbital Station and take the planetary shuttle to the Imperial-controlled surface area. Consult the local map after arriving.

  5. Find Dorn Base and its Command Center

Follow available Imperial transit and the tracked mission marker toward Dorn Base Command Center. It is the stated military meeting point, not a random snowy outpost.

  6. Contact Commander Lanklyn as directed

Follow the mission prompt to contact or receive Commander Lanklyn's briefing. Your journal uses the exact text Contact Commander Lanklyn as a required step.

  7. Speak with Ensign Slinte in the Command Center

Locate Ensign Slinte using the mission marker and speak to him. This dialogue begins Rescue Lanklyn, the first proper Hoth field mission.

  8. Check the next class mission before heading into the snowfields

Confirm your journal shows Rescue Lanklyn before following its tracking beacon. You should not set out directly for Xerender's later Black Market Compound yet.

Cannot find the objective?

Debriefing does not require searching a Hoth ice cave. Complete the Fury holoterminal FIRST, reach Dorn Base Command Center, and speak with Ensign Slinte. If your marker still points to your ship, the departure conversation is incomplete.

Other activities: Hoth planetary side missions, bonus kill counts and datacrons are not required to begin Rescue Lanklyn.
