How to jump into this adventure
Where you begin
Start on Korriban as an acolyte undergoing Sith trials. Complete the Academy class missions to advance under Imperial patronage; Dromund Kaas follows as the Imperial capital in the early campaign. Vette enters the original Warrior companion story early.
What you actually play
The Warrior travels through the Empire's hierarchy, serving and eventually challenging powerful Sith. Missions mix personal orders, political maneuvering and the consequences of relationships with other Force users. Keep the chapter summaries closed to preserve the story's major reversals.
Worth knowing
Choose this if you want lightsaber-centered Sith intrigue and consequential dialogue. The narrative is Sith Warrior regardless of whether you select the older Juggernaut/Marauder-style combat fantasy or another eligible Force style. Talk to your crew between major planets.
For the exact next mission on your character, open the Eras Window introduced in Game Update 7.7. Official Eras Window and Mission Log details · Official story missions. Current UI, availability, and chapter requirements can differ from the original expansion launches.
01 · Position within the galaxy
The story and the institutions it reveals
The Sith Warrior begins within an elite academy and learns that personal ability is not enough to secure a place in an unstable governing class. Supervisors, patrons and ritual trials determine who can claim advancement. A warrior who appears to embody obedience may ultimately become a test of whether the Empire distinguishes service to the Emperor from service to a powerful Sith superior.
On Korriban, Overseer Tremel facilitates an accelerated entrance into Sith training. Darth Baras takes the protagonist as an apprentice. The privileges given to this trainee, and the resentment they create, reveal that Sith education is organized around unequal sponsorship rather than a neutral meritocracy.
The protagonist enters the conflict in the position of Sith enforcer and later claimant to extraordinary authority. Beginning on Korriban, this narrative unfolds alongside the same Republic–Sith struggle explored by the other seven Origin Stories. A single storyline does not give a complete survey of the galaxy. Its conflicts and choices reveal the assumptions and restrictions facing this particular character, including who issues orders, controls travel, assigns rank, provides knowledge, and defines a mission's success.
02 · Main class narrative
Prologue and the three original chapters
The prologue begins on Korriban. Follow your purple Origin Story missions, then read the three chapter sections below for story direction, important characters and the complete recap. Your current Mission Log and Eras Window, rather than a historical mission coordinate, provide the precise next objective.
Follow the Korriban Sith Warrior mission walkthrough →I · Hunt for the Padawan
What you will play
Chapter I — Follow Darth Baras's assignments while pursuing the Jedi Padawan Jaesa. The chapter includes consequential choices; keep spoilers hidden until the class storyline reaches its decision point.
Story recap
Baras sends the Warrior to protect his network of infiltrators from a Jedi Padawan who can discern the nature of those she meets. The pursuit culminates in conflict around Jaesa Willsaam and her teacher Nomen Karr.
World and character context
Information becomes political power: a Padawan's ability to recognize hidden agents threatens years of clandestine preparation. Recruiting or corrupting an opponent raises questions about the difference between conviction and coercion.
II · Plan Zero
What you will play
Chapter II — Imperial conspiracies and Baras's plans widen. The Warrior's progression is tied to the master-apprentice story, and late-joining crew members appear through the purple missions rather than crew-skill tasks.
Story recap
The apprentice carries out a campaign aimed at undermining Republic military leadership and helping Baras rise in the Dark Council after the fall of Darth Vengean.
World and character context
The Sith governing class turns public war into a route for private advancement. This is not an accidental contradiction but a predictable incentive when offices and prestige are awarded through competition among patrons.
III · Revenge of the Wrath
What you will play
Chapter III — The original class finale turns on Sith rank and allegiance. Your dialogue choices matter to the tone of the journey, but do not assume all later expansion dialogue will preserve every early branch.
Story recap
After Baras attempts to dispose of the protagonist, the Emperor's Hand sponsors a new role as the Emperor's Wrath. The conflict culminates in a challenge to Baras's claim to speak for the absent Emperor.
World and character context
The final dispute concerns representation: who can credibly speak for a ruler who is not publicly accessible? The title of Wrath authorizes action, yet the machinery of authorization depends on secrecy and personal access.
03 · Recruit your crew
Where your five original companions join
As you progress the purple Sith Warrior storyline, the crew expands. The five linked recruitment cards below show where each companion joins the original adventure and what to follow next. These are not Alliance Alerts or modern combat-build rankings.
Since Game Update 4.0, original class companion conversations unlock through class story progress, not an affection threshold. Companions can fill healing, damage and tank roles, with their gear serving a cosmetic purpose. Speak with them aboard your ship between planets.
Returning after an expansion? Since Game Update 7.9 (June 2026), Companions & Contacts has an Ineligible for Story tab. It lets you use narratively unavailable companions in gameplay without changing their story status. The older Companion Locator Terminal is disabled. Official 7.9 companion changes

Explore Vette beyond combat
Vette enters the Sith Warrior's story under conditions of domination, and the relationship between her and a powerful Sith character foregrounds the gap between obedience produced by force and genuinely chosen loyalty.

How to play this story without confusing it with a Combat Style
Choose the Sith Warrior to examine the Empire's aristocratic hierarchy from within and experience a politically consequential apprenticeship narrative. Juggernaut and Marauder were the traditional associations, but the story is not identical to those combat mechanics.
Starting world: Korriban. Class-story ship: Fury-class interceptor. Original Advanced Class associations: Juggernaut and Marauder. Those associations describe the game's historical class presentation, not exclusive 2026 fighting options.

As of the 7.0 system, you choose the narrative Origin Story and your Combat Style as distinct character-creation decisions. Force-based stories select from eligible Force styles and tech-based stories from eligible Tech styles. Further eligibility, switching and additional styles depend on game unlocks, character status and current rules. For precise combat mechanics, compare the official 7.0 rules with the newest published patch notes; avoid using pre-7.0 ability lists as current build advice.
For a first playthrough, preserve your original class missions and speak with companions between major planets. Story decisions may change dialogue and relationships, while later shared expansions can converge on the same broader galactic events. Use the Eras Window to find the next main mission when returning after a long break.

Sith Warrior: social meaning of the playable career
This Origin Story is valuable for analyzing patrimonial power: individuals build their position through masters and patrons rather than impartial institutions. Baras's network and the Emperor's Hand show two competing routes to legitimacy. That the protagonist may play a light-aligned Sith does not erase the coercive institution in which the story takes place.
Each Origin Story establishes a particular social location rather than an unbiased historical perspective. The character's access to knowledge, legitimacy, patronage and mobility depends on institutional context. For this class, the most productive themes are Sith hierarchy, apprenticeship, political legitimacy. These themes are analytical questions applied to fictional material. They should not be mistaken for official authorial explanations, nor should outcomes chosen by one player be presented as the only possible version of the narrative.
An ethnographic analogy requires restraint. The game designs situations in which missions, dialogue menus and reward structures shape action. It cannot supply observations of real communities or evidence that a political theory is true. Its educational value lies in asking how a player learns to act within a social institution, what actions the mechanics reward, and whose experiences remain outside the story's field of view.
