Before chasing the quest marker, check the route
Choose the active story mission.Press L to open the mission log and track the named Sith Warrior objective. A purple mission symbol marks important story content, but not necessarily YOUR class mission. Follow the exact title and task shown in this walkthrough.
Open the full map.Default M opens the main map. Alt + M toggles the overlay map and minimap. If your shortcuts differ, check your assigned keybinds. Start with the WORLD region, then switch to the current AREA or interior floor map.
A marker behind a wall is not a doorway.On the world map find the correct district or zone; on the local map look for the named cave, station, building entrance, lift, security door or staircase. When the target is on another floor, find a connecting passage before heading toward its map symbol.
Know which travel option is available.Quick Travel opens a world map with available travel-point filters. Choose an unlocked destination on your current planet and pay attention to any restrictions or costs shown in-game. For a new planet, use your Fury's Galaxy Map and the orbital station surface shuttle instead.
If the marker does not advance, check the VERB.Talk, use, loot, disable, exit and return to your ship are separate mandatory interactions. Read the mission's “If you are stuck” note below before fighting more unrelated enemies.
The original story ends in the Sith Academy Dark Council Chambers
After Baras's Lair on Corellia, fly to Korriban and find Darth Vowrawn. Enter the Dark Council Chambers inside the Sith Academy, confront Darth Baras, and complete TWO separate battles, with dialogue between them and a final conversation.
Original level guidance: 50. Modern experience rewards often put the character higher. The Sith Warrior Origin Story determines these locations; Juggernaut Vengeance determines the combat style.
Complete the finale in this precise order
Travel: Fury Galaxy Map → Korriban → Fury holoterminal → Sith Academy → Darth Vowrawn → Dark Council Chambers.
Battle sequence: Talk to Darth Baras → DEFEAT Baras once → TALK to Baras → DEFEAT Baras again → TALK to Baras for the final decision.
Completion: the Council acknowledges the Emperor's Wrath after the final conversation. This is the ending of the ORIGINAL Sith Warrior Origin Story, not a later expansion.

These images are published player or forum references, not newly generated maps. Use them to recognize the area names and relative locations. An external world map cannot replace the mission-specific floor map once inside a building.

The Dark Council Chambers are INSIDE the Sith Academy. The marked tombs and outdoor Valley are NOT the finale entrance. Use the current Retribution mission marker for the interior door.
Darth Baras attacks twice. Use a companion in Healing mode if needed, and activate defensive cooldowns during the two fights. Complete the mandatory dialogue whenever the quest tracker changes from Defeat Darth Baras to Talk to Darth Baras.

Fly to Korriban
After the Fury holoterminal report from Baras's Lair, use the Galaxy Map to travel to Korriban, your Sith Warrior's starting world.

Use the Fury ship holoterminal before disembarking as Retribution requires. Servant One explains the confrontation with Baras before the Dark Council.
Travel to Sith Academy
Leave the spaceport and head toward the Sith Academy. Do not take a taxi to the Ajunta Pall or Tulak Hord tombs.
Speak to Darth Vowrawn
Follow the class mission marker inside or near the Academy to Darth Vowrawn and speak with him before confronting Baras directly.
Enter the Dark Council Chambers
Follow the mission's phase marker to the Dark Council Chambers INSIDE the Sith Academy. The council confrontation is a named interior.
Talk to Darth Baras
Approach Darth Baras in the chamber and complete the opening debate before the Council. The first combat phase begins after dialogue.
Defeat Baras: FIRST fight
Fight Darth Baras until the objective changes to Talk to Darth Baras. Use your healing companion and unlocked Vengeance defensive cooldowns if needed.
Talk to Baras BETWEEN fights
Speak to Baras after his first defeat. The journal explicitly requires this middle dialogue; do not walk away or treat the story as finished.
Defeat Baras: SECOND fight
Baras attacks again after the conversation. Defeat him for a SECOND time while remaining in the Dark Council Chambers phase.
Talk to Baras: FINAL choice
Approach the defeated Darth Baras and finish his final conversation. The Dark Council acknowledges the Emperor's Wrath, ending the original class story.
Cannot find the objective?
Required order: KORRIBAN → Fury holoterminal → VOWRAWN → DARK COUNCIL CHAMBERS → talk Baras → FIGHT 1 → talk Baras → FIGHT 2 → FINAL TALK. The two fights are intentional.
Other activities: Ilum and later expansions follow the original game but are not part of these three Sith Warrior chapters.
Tasks and named locations derive from the original SWTOR mission record. The route names authentic buildings and interactions without asserting unverified hallway turns or coordinates.
After Darth Baras's second defeat and final dialogue, the Dark Council recognizes the Emperor's Wrath. The original prologue and all three chapters of the Sith Warrior story are complete. Ilum and later expansions are separate story campaigns.
