The Sith Inquisitor class story uses Andronikos Revel to explore state service, piracy and occupational disaffection. IDS separates the official Holonet background and missions from the ethical and anthropological questions raised by this companion's place in the Sith Empire.

Background and family history
Andronikos Revel's past as an Imperial officer gives him firsthand knowledge of a structured military organization that no longer provides his principal identity. After leaving the navy, he lives through piracy and vendettas, applying practical ship-handling and combat skills outside the authority that trained him. His history suggests that occupational expertise persists after an institution removes or loses a member, and that legality depends strongly on the jurisdiction controlling a route or port.

Role in the Origin Story
The Sith Inquisitor encounters Andronikos amid the search for Sith objects and the rivalries produced by the Inquisitor's apprenticeship. His shipboard competence supplies the practical mobility necessary for a campaign otherwise focused on tombs, rituals and Force politics. A captain who values autonomy becomes attached to the affairs of a rising Sith claimant, demonstrating how independent contractors may drift into powerful patrons' networks.

Gameplay after joining the crew
Andronikos Revel is associated with the original Sith Inquisitor Origin Story, not an interchangeable companion unlocked identically for every class. To experience the original recruitment context, follow the relevant class missions and companion conversations before later shared expansions. Romance dialogue, alignment-dependent scenes and subsequent Alliance status must be verified in that playthrough. The publisher's archived stat lists and crafting bonuses describe early SWTOR systems and should not be offered as current combat or gift recommendations.

Background and cultural interpretation
Andronikos is a lens on the blurred border between state violence and criminal commerce. A naval vessel and a pirate ship can perform some similar actions while the surrounding political institutions assign opposite legal meanings. The narrative also invites attention to the fragility of autonomy when an independent worker depends increasingly on the protection and contracts of an influential client.
