Before chasing the quest marker, check the route
Choose the active story mission.Press L to open the mission log and track the named Sith Warrior objective. A purple mission symbol marks important story content, but not necessarily YOUR class mission. Follow the exact title and task shown in this walkthrough.
Open the full map.Default M opens the main map. Alt + M toggles the overlay map and minimap. If your shortcuts differ, check your assigned keybinds. Start with the WORLD region, then switch to the current AREA or interior floor map.
A marker behind a wall is not a doorway. On the world map find the correct district or zone; on the local map look for the named cave, station, building entrance, lift, security door or staircase. When the target is on another floor, find a connecting passage before heading toward its map symbol.
Know which travel option is available.Quick Travel opens a world map with available travel-point filters. Choose an unlocked destination on your current planet and pay attention to any restrictions or costs shown in-game. For a new planet, use your Fury's Galaxy Map and the orbital station surface shuttle instead.
If the marker does not advance, check the VERB.Talk, use, loot, disable, exit and return to your ship are separate mandatory interactions. Read the mission's “If you are stuck” note below before fighting more unrelated enemies.
Find the entrance, finish the objective, and return correctly
This guide separates the world-map destination from the building and room
you need to enter. Balmorra has industrial facilities and military compounds
where a mission circle may appear across a wall. Use the actual facility
entrance and read the numbered interior objectives below.
The Sith Warrior can play Balmorra or Nar Shaddaa first.
This walkthrough follows Balmorra first. Bonus and planetary
quests are not required for these four missions.

Take a companion set to Healing and use your current defensive
abilities when fighting Jailer Zixx, the Republic Special Forces
or Black Battalion troops. Force Charge helps you reach an enemy
in the same accessible area; it cannot skip a mission-phase door.
Use the abilities you have unlocked
Vengeance is Juggernaut damage specialization. Check your Ability

MISSION 01 / 04 · Chapter 1 · Main story
Contact Made
Your first Balmorra contact is Lieutenant Malavai Quinn. He works from an office in the Imperial headquarters at Sobrik. The mission makes you contact Baras from your ship after arrival before visiting Quinn.
Start
Fury-class interceptor, after Leaving Dromund Kaas
On the Fury bridge, open the Galaxy Map. Choose Balmorra as the first Chapter 1 investigation destination. The mission also lets you visit Nar Shaddaa first, but this walkthrough follows Balmorra before Nar Shaddaa so the instructions remain in one sequence.
After traveling, use the holoterminal aboard the ship
Do not run straight out of the spaceport if your quest still says to contact Baras. Interact with your ship holoterminal to hear the instructions about an exposed double agent; this changes the tracked destination to Quinn.
Exit the ship into the Balmorra spaceport and travel to Sobrik
Leave the Fury through its hangar. Balmorra's Imperial hub is Sobrik, which contains the spaceport and the Empire's military headquarters. Open the city-level map and follow the tracked class-story marker to the headquarters section.
Locate Quinn's Office in the Imperial headquarters
Follow the local map through the headquarters building to the separate interior labeled Malavai Quinn's Office or the mission-phase door. It is not the Sobrik cantina or a planetary-arc officer standing outdoors.
Speak with Quinn and accept the satellite sabotage assignment
Talk to Lieutenant Malavai Quinn. He briefs you on Commander Rylon and gives you the next objective. Before leaving, confirm the tracked mission changes to Erase the Past, which takes you out of Sobrik toward the Markaran Plains.
Cannot find the objective?
If the map shows Quinn but you cannot locate him outdoors, enter Imperial headquarters in Sobrik and open the interior map. If Quinn will not speak about the spy yet, complete the holoterminal contact on your ship first.
Other activities: Balmorra's planetary conquest storyline is separate from the Sith Warrior class story. You do not need to accept every yellow mission at the Sobrik base.
Order, ship holoterminal, Quinn office and class-story handoff follow the published Contact Made mission record and quest index. Corridor-level directions inside Sobrik are not represented as verified turns.
Quinn provides explosives for the computer in the Satellite Control Tower on the Markaran Plains. The key is entering the correct tower and interacting with its mainframe, not just reaching an objective circle outside the building.
Start
Lieutenant Quinn's office in Sobrik
Finish
Personal holocom message from Quinn, after bomb placement
Leave Quinn's office and open the Balmorra World Map
From Sobrik, leave Imperial headquarters and examine the planet map. Locate the Markaran Plains west of Sobrik. Set Erase the Past as the tracked mission so its area exit is easier to distinguish from unrelated factory and droid quests.
Travel toward the Markaran Plains via the road and available transit
Use a taxi or unlocked Quick Travel point nearest the relevant Markaran outpost when available. Otherwise follow the road connection toward the Plains. Recheck the local area map after arriving rather than walking directly toward a marker through terrain.
Find the named Satellite Control Tower, not the Okara Droid Factory
The region contains multiple large industrial interiors. Locate the Satellite Control Tower story area and enter its accessible doorway. Do not mistake the nearby Okara Droid Factory, Upper Markaran outpost or Vanguard Outpost for the actual quest building.
Enter the tower and reach the mainframe computer
After the area transition, use the tower's interior map. Follow the accessible corridors to the objective named mainframe computer. The outside map may place the circle at the center of the tower without showing its interior route.
Interact with the mainframe and plant Quinn's explosives
Use the mission interaction on the mainframe. Confirm the task Plant the Explosives completes. The mission does not require destroying ten Satcom Droids; that count belongs to the optional Erasing Them for Good bonus.
Click the flashing personal holocom to complete the handoff
After planting the explosives, the next mission step is to use your personal holocom. The call control flashes on your interface. You do not need to travel back to Sobrik first just to initiate the next conversation.
Cannot find the objective?
If you planted the explosive but Erase the Past appears unfinished, check the personal holocom: the final task is a conversation, not a second computer. If the marker lies inside a building, look specifically for Satellite Control Tower on the Markaran Plains map.
Other activities: Erasing Them for Good asks you to destroy ten Satcom Droids around the tower, but it is only a bonus; you may ignore it to stay on the Sith Warrior critical path.
Markaran Plains, Satellite Control Tower mainframe, explosives and the flashing holocom step appear in the TORCommunity mission record. The exact tower entrance turn has not been personally reproduced.
Ensign Durmat is held in a brig inside Republic Outpost Victory in Gorinth Canyon. The critical navigation distinction is that you must find the Outpost Victory compound and enter its Brig; the prisoner is not standing at the world-map marker outside the walls.
Start
Holocom call after the satellite charge
Finish
Lieutenant Quinn in Sobrik Imperial HQ
The route to follow
Markaran region→Gorinth Canyon→Republic Outpost Victory→Brig entrance→Ensign Durmat's cell→Jailer Zixx / Special Forces→Choice: execute OR drug→Sobrik / Quinn
Track Silence the Son and identify Outpost Victory
After Quinn contacts you, inspect the new destination on Balmorra's World Map. The correct region is Gorinth Canyon. Navigate from your current Markaran Plains location via the road network or an unlocked nearby taxi, not through unmarked cliffs.
Approach the REPUBLIC compound at Outpost Victory
Look for the Republic-controlled Outpost Victory area in Gorinth Canyon. Imperial Gorinth Outpost is a different friendly facility; do not stop at the similarly named Imperial taxi location and assume Durmat is there.
Find the Brig phase and enter it
Move into the Outpost Victory compound and follow the phase/breadcrumb marker to the area named Brig. The prison cell is indoors. Once through the door, switch to the interior map instead of searching around the exterior base.
Approach Ensign Durmat's cell and talk to him
Follow the brig objective to Durmat's cage, then initiate the dialogue with him. Jailer Zixx intervenes after the prisoner conversation and the trap becomes a combat encounter.
Defeat Jailer Zixx and the Republic Special Forces
The mission explicitly lists both Jailer Zixx and Republic Special Forces. Deal with the surrounding troopers before resuming the prisoner conversation. With Vengeance, use available defensive skills and keep a healing companion active for added security.
Talk to Durmat again and choose the outcome
You can kill Durmat or seek an amnesia drug to keep him from exposing Rylon. Read the updated objective; these branches do not have the same intermediate task sequence, although both ultimately return to Quinn.
If sparing Durmat, collect the amnesia drug in the Outpost Victory lab
Do not leave the compound for Sobrik if you selected the drug branch. The mission sends you to the Outpost Victory lab for the drug. Interact with the marked container, then backtrack to Durmat's cell inside the Brig and administer it.
Return to Quinn's office in Sobrik
When the prisoner objective is complete, leave the Brig and Outpost Victory through the same accessible compound exit, then use an unlocked taxi or travel route back to Sobrik. Enter Imperial headquarters and speak to Malavai Quinn to hand off the mission.
Cannot find the objective?
There are THREE names to distinguish: Gorinth Imperial Outpost is an Imperial transport hub; Outpost Victory is the Republic compound; Brig is the interior objective. If the drug route is active, look for its laboratory inside Outpost Victory and return to Durmat before heading to Sobrik.
Other activities: Throw Away the Key asks for twelve Resistance enemy defeats. This is a bonus and is not required to rescue, drug or kill Durmat.
Gorinth Canyon, Outpost Victory, the Brig, Zixx/Special Forces, laboratory drug branch and Quinn return are confirmed by mission records and the Balmorra story guide.
The factory mission has several combat and dialogue phases. The mission record specifically directs you through the Balmorran Arms Factory in the Sundari Flatlands to the administrative complex at the BACK of the facility; do not stop at the first large room with hostile troops.
Start
Quinn's private office in Sobrik
Finish
Your ship holoterminal after joining Quinn
The route to follow
Quinn's office holoterminal→Sundari Flatlands→Balmorran Arms Factory→Factory Level 2 stairs and elevator→Rear administrative complex→Eligyn and Black Battalion→Commander Rylon→Jedi Knight Mashallon→Sobrik / Quinn→Sith Warrior ship hangar→Ship holoterminal
Start with Quinn's OFFICE holoterminal
After Silence the Son, speak to Quinn in Sobrik and use his office holoterminal to contact Darth Baras. This is not your ship's bridge terminal. The assignment to find Commander Rylon begins after the office call.
Leave Sobrik and travel toward Sundari Flatlands
Open the Balmorra World Map and follow the roads or an available transit point toward the Sundari Flatlands. The target is the Balmorran Arms Factory, a large industrial complex distinct from the satellite control tower in Markaran Plains.
Enter the Balmorran Arms Factory through its public exterior approach
Travel to the Balmorran Arms Factory in Sundari Flatlands and enter its main accessible interior. The arms factory is a MULTI-LEVEL building; the world-map marker for Rylon is not an exterior entrance. Open the factory map once inside and look for the Level 2 route.
Work through the factory toward its REAR administrative complex
Make your way toward the rear Administrative Complex, which has its own interior map and an upper level. One documented factory route uses the RIGHT-HAND STAIRCASE to the upper factory level and an ELEVATOR toward the far end. Look for the level transition before chasing a marker through the outside wall; if your entry path differs, use the factory's Level 2 map and the marked Administrative Complex transition.
Find Commander Rylon and confront Captain Eligyn
After the upper-level factory route and elevator, continue into the REAR ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLEX. This is the actual destination for Commander Rylon. Captain Eligyn intercepts you there; complete his opening conversation before proceeding with the fight.
Defeat Captain Eligyn and his commandos, then speak again
Use your combat abilities to control the heavy groups and finish Captain Eligyn and Black Battalion commandos. Do not leave after the first fight: the tracked mission specifically calls for talking with Eligyn again before Commander Rylon.
Defeat Commander Rylon and answer the holocom
Follow the next mission objective to defeat Commander Rylon. After the confrontation, use your personal holocom when it begins flashing. This call changes the route toward the Jedi investigator.
Intercept Jedi Knight Mashallon and finish the fight
Follow the revised objective within the factory's story route to intercept Jedi Knight Mashallon. Speak to the Jedi Knight, fight him when required and finish his follow-up dialogue. Do not travel back to Sobrik until these objectives have cleared.
Return to Quinn in Sobrik
Backtrack through the factory's accessible interiors to the exit, use the road or unlocked transit to Sobrik and enter Imperial headquarters. Talk to Quinn in his private office. This return is not the final step.
Visit the Sith Warrior's private ship hangar
After your conversation with Quinn, follow the class-story marker to your Sith Warrior Hangar at the Balmorra spaceport. Quinn meets you there. Speak to him before attempting to conclude the story aboard your ship.
Board the Fury and use the bridge holoterminal
Enter the Fury-class interceptor, walk to its bridge and interact with the ship's holoterminal. This last call completes the Balmorra story handoff. You can then resume the Nar Shaddaa assignment on your Galaxy Map.
Cannot find the objective?
Rylon is in the REAR ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLEX, reached THROUGH the two-level Balmorran Arms Factory. If the marker is behind a wall, do not circle the outside: enter the factory, look for the RIGHT-HAND STAIRCASE to its upper level and the ELEVATOR at the far end, then continue into the administrative area. The community-reported staircase route can depend on where you enter. After the battle, return to QUINN in Sobrik, then speak with him in the ship hangar and use the Fury BRIDGE holoterminal.
Other activities: The Balmorran Arms Factory has separate planetary and exploration activities; these are not prerequisites for defeating Rylon and Jedi Knight Mashallon in the Sith Warrior story.
TORCommunity identifies the factory's rear administrative complex and all sixteen stage objectives (Eligyn, Black Battalion, Rylon, Mashallon, Quinn and hangar). No unverified interior-floor sequence is represented as a turn-by-turn screenshot map.
After returning to your ship and finishing the holoterminal
conversation, your next investigation is on Nar Shaddaa.
The chapter can be played in either planetary order.
