LIVE 7.9 · LEVEL 80IMPERIAL ENTRANCE6 BOSS ENCOUNTERS

01 · FIND THE INSTANCE

How to get to the Imperial Operation entrance

Fury Galaxy Map → ONDERON → shuttle to DXUN → entrance → NORTH jungle trail → Pack Leader Red → NORTH facility door (not the east door).

Available modes: Subscriber Operation, 8-player Story, Veteran and Master. Not part of the mandatory Onslaught class story.

  1. 01

    Fly to Onderon first

Select ONDERON on your Fury Galaxy Map. The entrance to Nature of Progress is not on the Imperial Ziost Shadow Mission Deck; the access route uses a surface shuttle to the moon DXUN.

  2. 02

    Take the Dxun shuttle

On Onderon find the departure shuttle for DXUN on the planetary map. Join an Operations group, select Story Mode for a first run, and enter the Dxun Operation phase together.

  3. 03

    Follow the jungle's winding route

Inside, travel generally NORTH by the marked path. Clear Flesh-Eating Shrieks and Venomous Stalkers. A map marker directly north may hide a bend rather than a straight passage.

  4. 04

    Prepare special-ability jobs

Before going deeper, nominate someone to CLICK FLOWERS against Red's venom, flare carriers for the Holding Pens, and a dedicated BATTERY RUNNER for the Apex finale.

  5. 05

After Red, choose the NORTH door

The northern facility door opens after Pack Leader Red. The eastern door can appear blue/active, but does not open until the Control Center encounter is finished.

  3. 0303 · Holding Pens → Auxiliary Shield Generator
  4. 0404 · Control Center → facility gate

ENCOUNTER 01 / 06 · Northern Dxun jungle

Pack Leader Red

How you reach this boss: Follow the trail through shrieks and stalkers until Red patrols the clearing near blue clickable flowers.

  1. 01

    Turn the boss away

A tank faces Red away from the other seven players so its ACIDIC JET cone does not spray the raid.

  2. 02

    Bait Hydrochloric Pool

The tank moves away from a new HYDROCHLORIC POOL red zone to avoid weakening damage and heals.

  3. 03

    Watch venom stacks

RED VENOM CLOUD stacks on the group throughout the fight; healers call when stacks require cleansing.

  4. 04

    Click a blue flower

RIGHT-CLICK a BLUE-GLOWING FLOWER to create a protection circle. Have players stand within it to clear/reduce venom stacks.

  5. 05

    Use the correct door

After Red falls, enter the NORTH FACILITY DOOR. The glowing east entrance unlocks later, not immediately.

Story Mode: Story: a single tank and near-side flower can keep this simple; casts may be interruptible in Story.

Veteran Mode: Veteran: rely on movement rather than only interrupts; manage flowers and bad floor placement.

Stuck here? Can't find the next doorway? Go NORTH from Red, not the initially locked glowing EAST entrance.

Next encounter: Holding Pens: Lights Out →

ENCOUNTER 02 / 06 · Czerka Holding Pens and Auxiliary Shield Generator

Holding Pens: Lights Out

How you reach this boss: Past Red's north facility door, take CI-Neutralizer flares and Synapse stims before activating the start panel.

  1. 01

    Pick up flares

The CI-NEUTRALIZER FLARES are in a CRATE in the preparation room near the north hallway.

  2. 02

    Pick up stims

The CI-M SYNAPSE STIM vials sit on a TABLE; these add temporary combat/movement abilities.

  3. 03

    Open the holding-pen door

Only click the START PANEL once the whole group is ready: add waves begin when it is activated.

  4. 04

    Run toward the Shield Generator

Don't stay to farm endlessly spawning creatures. Move as a group toward the AUXILIARY SHIELD GENERATOR.

  5. 05

    Use light on Felshades

Deploy a flare when stopping to fight; Felshade Reapers/Hunters are affected by its light. Handle Warden Droid conal abilities.

  6. 06

    Claim the generator

Finish the necessary guards and click the required SHIELD GENERATOR interaction before attempting the next stage.

Story Mode: Story: a timed travel-and-activation phase, not a boss with one health bar.

Veteran Mode: Veteran: agree on flare/stim assignments; avoid repeated stims and unnecessary fights.

Stuck here? The trash never ends because this stage is an add rush. Move to the SHIELD GENERATOR instead of clearing every creature.

Next encounter: Control Center: According to Plan →

ENCOUNTER 03 / 06 · Auxiliary Shield Generator → Czerka Control Center

Control Center: According to Plan

How you reach this boss: After taking the Auxiliary Shield Generator, continue the second half of Breach CI-004 to the Control Center.

  1. 01

    Leave the generator room correctly

The next add phase starts from the same interior route, not from a return trip to the jungle.

  2. 02

    Gather fresh supplies

Collect renewed flares and temporary movement stims where available and assign callers.

  3. 03

    Push with the group

Proceed along the CONTROL CENTER passage without wasting time on endlessly respawning optional creatures.

  4. 04

    Stun or interrupt blockers

Handle required Warden Droids and security enemies around doors, keeping their conal damage off healers.

  5. 05

    Use the Control Center console

At the far side defeat the relevant defenders, then RIGHT-CLICK THE CONTROL CENTER SECURITY CONSOLE to claim the room.

  6. 06

    Recheck the eastern passage

The earlier locked EAST FACILITY DOOR becomes available after the Control Center is secured, opening the route to the main lab.

Story Mode: Story: another coordinated add-rush stage, counted separately here so every route checkpoint is visible.

Veteran Mode: Veteran: communication about controls and movement is essential while waves keep spawning.

Stuck here? If the phase will not end, inspect the Control Center interactive PANEL. A kill count alone is not the capture objective.

Next encounter: Mutant Trandoshan Squad →

ENCOUNTER 04 / 06 · Main facility Train Station

Mutant Trandoshan Squad

How you reach this boss: From Control Center go into the main facility, follow security doors and drop through a BROKEN WINDOW into the Train Station.

  1. 01

    Find the broken-window drop

From the upper facility route take the stairs and jump through the BROKEN WINDOW that leads into the train platform encounter.

  2. 02

    Identify four mutants

The fight has four Trandoshans associated with FIRE, ICE, STRENGTH and TOXICITY; this is ONE multi-target raid encounter.

  3. 03

    Begin on first two

Two bosses are present at pull; two more jump down later. Tanks should agree on separation before combat.

  4. 04

    Respond to elemental tells

Avoid fire, ice and toxic area indicators instead of remaining stacked on the same boss.

  5. 05

    Follow agreed target priority

DPS and tanks coordinate swaps as the other two enter. Healers need space for overlapping arena effects.

  6. 06

    Continue to Executive Lounge

After all four die, follow the facility route toward the Executive Lounge instead of backtracking through the Holding Pens.

Story Mode: Story: first serious multi-target coordination check; the four mutants are not four separate boss checkpoints.

Veteran Mode: Veteran: stronger simultaneous effects require tank separation and disciplined targets.

Stuck here? If you only see two mutants, the additional pair joins later. Keep fighting rather than restarting.

Next encounter: The Huntmaster →

ENCOUNTER 05 / 06 · Executive Lounge broken-window arena

The Huntmaster

How you reach this boss: At the Executive Lounge use the LEFT BROKEN WINDOW to drop into the outdoor Huntmaster arena.

  1. 01

    Use left window

Take the LEFT BROKEN WINDOW shown in the original source, not the other opening.

  2. 02

    Stay in moving light

The MOVING LIGHT protects players from Lurking Beasts; relocate with it as the fight progresses.

  3. 03

    Angle Scatterblast away

If marked for SCATTERBLAST, point the big yellow cone away from players and roaming beasts.

  4. 04

    Kill priority beasts

Don't let the Huntmaster kill excessive Lurking Beasts; each marked kill reduces his Master of the Hunt stacks toward dangerous empowerment.

  5. 05

    Recognize the final creature

The encounter changes in the last phase after a powerful creature attacks the Huntmaster. Follow the new enemy target and kill it.

  6. 06

    Continue to Apex chamber

Regroup after the event credit, then proceed into the last Czerka chamber and select an Apex battery carrier.

Story Mode: Story: follow the light and protect beasts from Huntmaster's mark; watch for his phase transition.

Veteran Mode: Veteran: positioning, Scatterblast and the beast counter become more consequential.

Stuck here? Can't locate Huntmaster? Follow the Executive Lounge to the LEFT broken window. Avoid jumping out the wrong side.

Next encounter: Apex Vanguard →

ENCOUNTER 06 / 06 · Final laboratory: Central Transformer, EMP, Fans, Wash

Apex Vanguard

How you reach this boss: Assign a BATTERY RUNNER before pulling and locate CENTRAL TRANSFORMER plus three utility stations.

  1. 01

    Take the power battery

Remove the BATTERY from the CENTRAL TRANSFORMER. A runner inserts it into the correct stations when mechanics begin.

  2. 02

    Refill as needed

Return the battery to its central charger between uses. Staying the carrier too long builds slow stacks.

  3. 03

    EMP stops Mass Target Lock

On MASS TARGET LOCK with red target icons, carry the battery to the EMP/DISRUPTOR and click its center console to stop bombardment.

  4. 04

    Fans dispel Venom

For RED VENOM CLOUD, power FANS then click the fan console to ventilate the room.

  5. 05

    Wash removes acid

Yellow ACID BLAST pools linger unless the WASH STATION is powered and activated.

  6. 06

    Leave space for the group

Tank aims the boss from the wall to place ACID BLAST pools around the outside of the room.

  7. 07

    Coordinate Darkness / Photogenesis

Light reduces DARKNESS OVERDRIVE stacks but heals Apex through PHOTOGENESIS. The battery runner follows assigned calls, not random toggles.

Story Mode: Story: battery station order matters more than maximizing DPS; designate one caller.

Veteran Mode: Veteran/Master: battery charges, timers, threat, movement and floor placement are less forgiving.

Stuck here? Red targets wiping everyone? Activate EMP before Mass Target Lock expires. Acid floor building up? Use the separate WASH station.

REDDIT, SWTOR FORUMS & PUBLISHED GUIDES

Common raid problems and how players solved them

Player reports are not guaranteed fixes for every game version. These answers link to their source so readers can check the original context.

Why does one guide count five bosses and another six?

This walkthrough counts SIX STAGES: Red, Holding Pens, Control Center, Trandoshans, Huntmaster and Apex. The Holding Pens + Control Center are sometimes combined as one two-part ADD RUSH.

Original discussion or mechanic reference ↗

Why does the Holding Pens marker point away from the actual door?

Reddit players warn that the indicator can mislead. Use the building door nearest the last boss, then activate the console instead of heading across jungle.

Original discussion or mechanic reference ↗

Where do I get flares and stims?

Both are in the room immediately after Red: flares in a crate near the hallway, stims in vials on the table. Wait for the group before activating the Holding Pens console.

Original discussion or mechanic reference ↗

Why does battery carrying make me slow?

Put the battery into a station/charger when it isn't needed to stop building slow stacks. Community raiders discuss rotating the runner for longer fights.
